Ta-da! Think this is the first one I've started.

I am still feeling somewhat feisty. Told my team off at work for being too noisy Blush and was generally stroppy. Might have to go and start a row in AIBU or something!

So, dating, as you were etc Grin

Not forgetting of course that I have a second date at the weekend!

OP posts:
watchoutforthatsnail · 13/04/2012 13:26

i thought so. didnt reply yet.

i do sometimes wonder if im being too picky.

nice to know im not.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:30

To be honest with you adams I'm very seriously thinking of deleting my profile and having done with it. I think I deserve better than the knobbers men I am attracting. I've done a search of my area and a 15 mile radius and it's grim. I think I would stand better chance of meeting someone if I sat in the bus station all day.

No watch, you are not being too picky. Trust me. Smile

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:32

This one wants the same as me, he thinks we will 'get on' spire1969.

Sunshinedelacruz · 13/04/2012 13:33

Watch - I really like the grey bag you got for your mum. Unfortuantly I cant afford it as whilst having the flu I still managed to do a substantial amount of internet shopping.
And here was I thinking it was me who only attracted the awful ones on POF. Its heartening to see fellow godesess having the same issues! I messaged someone who said he was a Director in the vain hope he would be halfway decent. Nope. All he kept doing was messaging me "are you there?" I would reply "yes" then he would message "are you there?" again and again. FFS of course I was there!
I have a habit of scrutinising the background in pictures when men send one of them in their living room. Twice I have seen cages with padlocks on in the background which to me indicates some kind of wild animal is being kept in there. I worry about someone who may smell of dog/animal. Fussy I know.
Another bloke said my pictures were "nice" NICE. My mum tells me I look nice when in fact I look like a hefalump in unsuitable clothing. Nice isnt a word.
I have got saturated with looking at pictures of half naked men beside swimming pools.
The text speak man from earlier who messaged Time was hysterical, how do people learn how to message like that? I havent got the skills to do it.
So, all in all. Nothing for me.
Oh - I got the glad eye from a bloke who was walking 2 dangerous looking dogs past Lidl.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:36

I think it's more likely Sunshine that the guy who messaged in text speak hasn't got the skills to write in good old plain English Grin

And you are not being 'fussy' not wanting a man who smells of animal, you simply have standards!

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:40

"Now you have a glimpse of what is on offer in my area! If it's not on Crimewatch, it's on POF!"

Classic Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 13/04/2012 13:41

sunshine ;) your post has made me laugh :) alot. you are very funny :)

time - OH MY GOD!!!!!! and thats all i have to say about that.

www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=38474973

this is the one im holding out hope for thats calling me again later... what do you think?

( its excellent to have people to sound it out over)

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:44

spire1969...standards, Time, standards.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:46

Grin Sadly, watch, I tend to attract a lot of that type. But why?

Mmm, not so sure about him. He's ok I suppose, I do think he may be a little quiet for you, he doesn't like talking about himself and he apologises for having bored the reader at the end of his profile. That would turn me off. Lack of confidence, maybe? Lowish self esteem? Nothing jumps out at me that would inspire me to date him. bit of a moaner

Just my opinion though Grin

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:47

I like his smile.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:49

Also, watch he says "Generally you never find what you are looking for." That's a very negative thing to say on a dating profile. I mean, we are not in the least bit negative, are we? Grin

Chaotic yes, standards, obviously I shall have to lower mine if I want to pull cos that seems to be the kind of man I attract Grin

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:49

Hang on a minute, I think I may have got the wrong one. Just realised I had two profiles open Blush

watchoutforthatsnail · 13/04/2012 13:49

i thought that, but hes not come across that way in texts or on the phone ( so far)

nothng exciting, i admit, but maybe worth a coffee?

and anyways.... i can be quiet... sometimes :)

'I got the glad eye from a bloke who was walking 2 dangerous looking dogs past Lidl.' - i LOVE this ;)

watchoutforthatsnail · 13/04/2012 13:51

hes negative, but bloody right. lol

hmmm,i shall consider futher before i waste 2 hours of my time and car parking money.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:53

Well, don't say I didn't warn you watch if you do decide to meet him Grin

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:53

You got any more for my perusal? I quite like scanning your hits. That's HITS by the way!

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:55

It is a bit negative at the end but sometimes you've got to meet a person to find out what they're like. I have to admit some of the things I would say in person don't always sound right when I type them out. Go with your instincts on this one.

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 13:55

www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=33118163

This is the one who's smile I liked.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:56

This one says "hi". I distinctly say in my profile I need more than a "hi" to work with so sadly, I am going to have pass on this one honestalan

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 13:58

This one says I look nice and asks if I fancy a chat. juddybla

This is one who asked me to meet him yesterday. Apparently he made a profile by accident and was about to delete it, so my time was limited. Needless to say his profile is still there today mr.david66

watchoutforthatsnail · 13/04/2012 14:01

honestly - listen to his, the fucking builder who has NO chance,
after being ignored for the last 4 messages he sent, sent this
' i am sorry about last nite a little drunk and we were trying to send you my pics i really didnt know it was that late '

me - WE?????

him - i got my neice to help out because i got my upgrade yesterday and aint a clue. doh, did you get my pic.

????????????????????????????????????

he had tried to send pics after 2 am... his NIECE?? why, why is he even bothering.

now im getting texts that say ' are you really pissed off with me?@
and im not replying, yet he keeps sending them.

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 14:04

who's...whose Hmm

ChaoticAngel · 13/04/2012 14:07

I'm being reminded why I left pof...all that talent, I just couldn't handle it Wink

I tried a username search on juddybla but nothing happens.

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 14:07

What a knob! His niece?? Hmm Rubbish! Not only that he is beginning to sound very desperate, constantly texting you. You do right to ignore him. Totally!

TimeForMeAndDD · 13/04/2012 14:09

Why does that happen? Does that mean his own profile is hidden while he looks at those of others? I would have my profile hidden too if I looked like him!
