My friend uses eharmony Tolly, but she hasn't had a huge amount of luck so far. She's been on a couple of REALLY duff dates from it. One guy even lied about his ethnic background (she only want's to date Caucasian men, limiting I know, but her choice I suppose) Plus It's really expensive to be join/ stay a member.

But hey, your experience could end up being totally different. Nothing ventured and all that..

TollysFolly I have been on eHarmony for a month and it is a load of rubbish. It chooses your matches for you and all but one in the last month has been totally unsuitable I am not saying I am a stunner but these blokes were really unattractive. I had one message of a lovely bloke but he met someone before I got chance to meet him. Matchaffinity is a similar type of thing and it is much better you can actually search for your own matches and look at peoples pictures. I wouldn't waste your money with eHarmony.

If I ever am brave enough to date again, which seems unlikely, i might be in the unmatchable category.

I know I keep mentioning this from time to time, but speed dating does seem to take some of the pain out of the problem, at least in theory, but fear that no one probably does it for ladies who are old...

Hi all...hope you have all had a good weekend. Well I had a lovely date on Saturday night..Not sure I really fancy him though but he was such a gentleman, well dressed, intelligent and funny. He is really keen on me and said how gorgous I looked!! All great for the ego. I think I will see him again. Not sure if he will grow on me but if not I think we could become good friends (assuming he would want that).
