Watch 3? You might aswell whilst you have the chance. 40 yr old men can be immature so can 50 yr olds.

Goldy, it's done now, the text, so just put it behind you. It's hard to let go when you like someone alot but these sort of guys are expert in keeping women dangling. They usually have a few on the go at once.

Am of the stock that I cant just "cut" (for want of better expression) feelings off. I would love LOVE to be like that. Cant seem to reason in my head when enough is enough.

mlm is another poster (jees am slow)

Its like its my destructive ambition to make myself frustrated and him emotionally available. Number 1 is happening. Number 2 is not going to happen. Why do I keep trying?

i have a date, tomorrow afternoon... with a scruffy musician. Im excited!!!!!!!!

hes 41, ive never dated anyone more than a year older than me. The surfer was 38.. but i dont think that counts as a date. The buuddist was 35. So - do i need to be a bit more sensible? or can i assume since hes a musician that hes super cool and iyts all good?

( i know, its a stupid question, i just have age issues )

Yes it is that rare thing, a second date! It might end in shagging but he will not be presuming that and if it does I will do in the full and certain knowledge that no more may come of it

I'll believe the date when and if it happens though Grin

He's not actually ever disappeared, I've had texts from him often, just no date til I twisted his arm

Hi Zany Smile It's good to 'see' you again.

Thank you re holiday, it really was lovely, can't wait to go back next year Grin No dates lined up for me. Yet.

adamschic · 10/04/2012 15:16

Sponge, is this actually a SECOND date or is it more? Tell him, on the date, that there won't be anymore if he does a disappearing act again.

HI guys

Just spent most of my working day a while catching up.

Hope your OK Watch everyone has an off few days when everything gets too much but hopefully your feeling better now. Shame about the Buddist, his loss though.

Hi Time glad you had a good holiday with DD. Am i right in thinking you have a date coming up soon?

Good on you Sponge for telling Mr Barbour as it is, have you had any response yet?

Have you heard much from your love/friend interest? It seems to me as though she isn't sure herself what she wants. May be worth hanging in there until she figures things out? Depends on how you feel I guess as you don't want to wait around too long.

Well things are still going well with Mr Yacht although the reality of having 4 DC's between us is really hard at times, his DS's are still young and the younger one is very clingy and dare I say it but a bit whiney. Definately a challenge. Apart from that though things are all good Grin

I clearly have no sense of humour...

Do you see how positive I can be when I'm told I'm not good at something? Grin Me and a BF used to have this I won't be beaten thing, that I have to prove people wrong. That's the lawyer in me I guess.

Might also help I have a date with Barbour man at the weekend...Grin

Always on my terms. It has to be. Done that before though. He was good and worth it, but wanted more, I didn't. I like my new found friend, he gives me the best cuddles and I feel natural with him. That's what I need.

I think internet dating requires very little effort initially, all you need is a good photo and a talent with words. That's enough to get a person hooked, your mind fills in the blanks and a little romance/lust creeps in before the first date. Then you meet and come face to face with an entirely different person to the one you thought you were talking to Grin

mlm - there is nothing wrong with a one nighter, provided you want to do it and its on your terms.

I dont mind the odd one nighter, should the mood take me, but its only ever if im the one calling the shots, i wouldnt do it and then expect the guy to call because of tyhat, but if i want sex, for the sake of havign sex, ill do it :) and be happy for its own sake.

rob - comedy school possibly needed in your spare time?
