Wouldn't actually waste the effort.

:)

I was a bit upset about this yesterday, today is a beautiful day, full of endless possibilities!

watchoutforthatsnail · 01/03/2012 10:41

:)

it is, its lovely, spring is around the corner too, all exciting.

You know its ok to be upset though, you dont have to be woman of steel. So dont feel crap about yourself for feeling pissed off or whatever.

PostBellumBugsy · 01/03/2012 11:06

watch, Big Ben sounds hot - enjoy! Wink
I am liking Zoosk - it is much more fun than Match.

lovesineffable · 01/03/2012 11:13

spring and summer are the seasons for sensuality...and for being a cold hearted bitch, next man I shag I'm gonna not contact him afterwards (hopefully that wont be because he was another inept lover Grin)

So, thats going to be my summer project, I shall metamorphose into ms treat-em-mean cool and aloof Grin

Zanywany · 01/03/2012 11:18

Hi everyone

Sorry he's a twat not been in touch Snape his loss. Glad your feeling a bit better today.

Well I'm off on the Yacht today with Mr Yacht. Feeling very very nervous though as I am terrified of flying and I am worried about leaving my DC's. The will be with my parents for 2 days and their Dad for one night but my DD especially doesn't want to go to her Dad's as they feel unhappy there alot of the time. Feel very selfish to be going away, even though it's only for 3 nights.

EHoneybadger · 01/03/2012 14:07

Sorry, I keep lurking on this thread but never know what to say.

Watch , re your disappearing teacher I keep wondering if he actually liked you too much and wanted more than FWB which is why he buggered off rather than get hurt himself. Just a thought.

hatesponge · 01/03/2012 14:20

I ended up showing the text conversation between me and Friday's date to one of my friends and her DP (who met online). Interestingly they both said whilst it was obvious he was keen on me from his texts, it wasn't at all clear from mine that I felt similarly Blush, and that if either of them were him they wouldn't have bothered contacting me again...!

I am now not allowed to enter into post-date texting without running my replies past them first. Am also somewhat kicking myself that I didn't make it more clear. They think I should in the circs text him; still pondering on that one though.

watchoutforthatsnail · 01/03/2012 14:26

ehoney - nope. doubt it, since he was meant to come to mine, and i had been out and got food for a nice meal... and he knew all this... and i text him a few times and he didnt reply. and i also called him, and he didnt reply. So - no.
If he had liked me, then he would have picked up the phone.

sponge - that is interesting... maybe text once then?

Snapespeare · 01/03/2012 14:32

Zany, hope you a smashing time on the yacht! Please don't feel guilty, there is only one life. :) have fun.

Well, sponge, now we have to construct a perfectly worded text....

...hi, just wanted to touch base, I had a lovely time with you at the weekend & would like to see you again?

Then, if it's an ignore, or no, you know what's going on & can move on. If it's a yes, all well & good. :) the no-text-sister sets you free! Just text him! :)

DatingSausage · 01/03/2012 18:32

Hi, new person here, I'm just about to go on a second date with a guy I met on pof. Not sure if I fancy him yet, and not sure if he's genuine. Ah well nothing ventured nothing gained.

lovesineffable · 01/03/2012 20:04

Hope you manage to make your mind up about him soon DatingS ! :)

hatesponge · 01/03/2012 21:17

snape if only I had seen your draft first- is FAR better than my team effort!

however I can report that we are texting again Grin. I have yet to broach the subject of date 2. I think part of me is still a bit Hmm and Shock to think he actually likes me, and I still tend to the view he's being polite.

And yes I know I am quite mad :)

MyLittleMiracle · 01/03/2012 22:11

Arent we all? Its the effect a certain male has on you! I keep having butterflies, everytime my msn pings!! And you should go and enjoy with Mr Yacht Zany!

I think we should all enjoy life and god knows i intend to! I have been through enough!

PoppaRob · 01/03/2012 22:40

Catching up with someone for drinks next week! Yay!

I actually met her through Oasis a couple of years ago but nothing happened except a friendship based on some work history and mutual acquaintances. We're FB friends and have an occasional phonecall. She rang for some employment advice (her boss is a prick was a business associate many years ago) and she'd had enough and needed to talk with someone. Anyway... it turns out she thought I was in a relationship so she'd kept her distance. I doubt it's going to develop into anything deep and meaningful but she'd be a good person to date from time to time, and who know, maybe more. Yay!

lovesineffable · 02/03/2012 01:33

Sounds good PoppaRob!
and it's always lovely to catch up with someone when you have a pre-existing connection :)

MyLittleMiracle · 02/03/2012 08:08

Its good to read that some people on here are having a success. I KNOW that the chap i am talking to and me, if nothing more, will be very good friends! And hopefully more, have to see what happens when we meet! But we have quite a lot in common, and neither of us judge the other on what we have been through.

Anyway i always thought it was supposed to be friends first and lovers second! Cant wait to meet him, but both very bust atm! Maybe april, my tooth will be sorted out by then with any luck and i will have trimmed another couple of inches off belly too!

PoppaRob · 02/03/2012 09:31

I'm with you on the inches off the belly! I'm solid all over but not huge except the belly and man-boobs. It's the roof over the toolshed that lets me down. :(

I quite like the idea of lipectomy. Like flensing the blubber off a whale carcass.

PostBellumBugsy · 02/03/2012 09:32

Date next Wednesday! First in a quite a while. Looking forward to it. Am hoping he will at least bear a passing resemblance to his photo!

Good luck to PoppaRob & hope Zany is having a fab time on yacht & DatingS had a good 2nd date.

Snape, don't think you have anything to lose - so why not.

watchoutforthatsnail · 02/03/2012 09:41

so - sponge, whats the update? do you have firm plans?

postbel - fab, what are you doing/wearing etc...

snape - worth an ask???

zany -have a lovely time.. :) and dont feel guilty.

I ALMOST cancelled my date sat with big ben, but to be honest, curiosity has got the better of me, and im going because, fankly, i need to see it :) i dont think ive seen one that big EVER!!! is that awful of me?

and i have a date with someone else next sat, who seems nice, and like we would get on. So thats it profile hidden for the momment.

PostBellumBugsy · 02/03/2012 09:53

Watch, don't cancel with Big Ben - just sounds too huge to be missed!!!! Will you be able to not stare at his crotch when you first meet up?!

Next Weds - quick drink after work - his photo is good & the chat is good - he has a huge motorbike & has already offered to take me out on it (PBB tries not to drip with lust).

watchoutforthatsnail · 02/03/2012 10:07

postbel, 9.5 inches apparently. I may have seen several pics and a video i may have looked at all of them with my jaw on the floor in shock.
I will be staring at his crotch, im sure he knows this, and im going to ask to see it, whatever happens because i have no shame
i mean, i cant not go, can i. Else i will forever kick myself for not seeing the worlds most massive cock.

Im also fully aware it is probably attached to the biggest cock too. lol

PostBellumBugsy · 02/03/2012 10:14

OMG - 9.5 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG - I'd want to have a look - but would be terrified of it going anywhere near me. I have just looked at the ruler on my desk and that is humungous.

watchoutforthatsnail · 02/03/2012 10:25

i know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hence why i need to see it. Like, i just have to :) Because i cant quite image what one that big looks like. yes, ive seen pics, but i need to see with my eyes.

He did say most women are terrified of it and its not always a good thing to be so huge.

PostBellumBugsy · 02/03/2012 11:17

Well, you know what they say - seeing is believing! Grin

adamschic · 02/03/2012 11:28

Zany, have a lovely time. I always find the first holiday together can be make or break. Hope it's make for you both.

Poppa, so your date is someone who is nice to date from time to time? I have had one of those for the past couple of years and he is now a very regular (and lovely) date. So you never know how it turns out.

Watch, a word of warning. My ex was around that size. I'm around your height and on the petite side and it took along time for me to get used to it and not needing medication afterwards Grin.
