I will try and do a pic... never hooked up my new camera to this PC yet so might be a while! If I can't do it with that I'll do a webcam one on FB

Grin Shiney!! I will see how the evening goes. Thing is, he is coming across as very respectful, a rather nice man, it may not be in his make up to shag on a first date. I may be back on here tomorrow feeling very rejected and over analysing Grin

I will have a look at Fat Face but it sounds expensive. I'm brassic at the moment with all my spare money going in the Christmas and next years holiday fund. That's the main reason for wanting to get back in my clothes. I didn't think I had A Style.

Watch thanks for that! Grin I think to be on the safe side I will put the dress away until next Summer. I have size 7 feet as it is, the last thing I want is them looking like flippers! You are right about me feeling good about myself, excited about life and all that. I am in a really good place, for the first time in my life!

PoppaRob · 14/10/2011 12:22

time: insanely jealous as I am of any blokes that get to bump uglies with any members of this little posse 'cos some of you are like favourite kid sisters and others are totally my kind of woman just shag him. Just have an extra glass of wine, relax, let The Force guide you, forget standards for one night, and make sure the bugger makes the earth move for you. You deserve nothing less!

watchoutforthatsnail · 14/10/2011 12:22

yay :)

we want to see!

my 'fringe' is really long, like at my lips if i pull it down. but what i do is part it low, dry it coming down over my face and then flick it across and it mostly stays there. ( or i just flick it out the way)

i like it.
have a play with it and see what works for you.

Snapespeare · 14/10/2011 12:24

shiney that is a dress. love it. :)

TimeForMeIsFree · 14/10/2011 12:38

Grin PoppaRob Well, I am prepared for all eventualities. My mind is open to the possibility but my stomach is turning somersaultsOooh, I've just come over all funny......

Was thinking while out walking about your post on physical attractiveness. I was thinking about it in relation to internet dating, how I look at a profile and if I don't like the look of him I move onto the next, even though there might be some bits of the actual profile that make me smile or interest me. That's very shallow of me isn't it? I could be missing out on a really nice bloke just because his photo doesn't do it for me. I'm not normally one to go for looks (as you would realise if you saw my ex) I like nice personality and good conversation (neither of which my ex had, don't know where I went wrong there) and those qualities are what makes a person attractive to me. Anyway, just sharing my observations Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 14/10/2011 12:47

What time is your date time? and what time you going to start getting ready?

and i dont think its shallow. you need to fancy them or else whats the point really.
but someone can be attractive for all kinds of reasons, not just conventional ones.

We are meeting at 8pm. DD will be going to her dads at 6pm so I will start getting ready then, starting with a nice relaxing bath. Ha! Relaxing, right!

Funnily enough I've just been having a practice with my perfumes, am liking the DNKY Delicious in my present mood. I don't own any expensive perfumes Shiney I've never ever been bought any and can't afford to buy them myself so I only have what my budget allows. I do hope he smells nice though. I find a slightly minging face can be forgiven if it smells nice Grin

charlottesmum5 · 14/10/2011 13:05

Can you believe this? A new mr.millionaire messaged me last night to say could we meet..I said I would rather exchange a few emails first over a week or so...so he said "are you on the pill?" i said "no, why?!" he said he would like to get physical straightaway. I said are you joking , he said no!! I blocked him!!!

TimeForMeIsFree · 14/10/2011 13:09

Wow!! You look great!! Absolutely gorgeous! Now get that on your dating profile!!

prettypurpledaisy · 14/10/2011 13:55

Right 6 hrs and counting! Having a crisis of confidence about outfit (DD said not to dress up too much or I will look desparate!) so have black skinny jeans, heels and a black top with cutaway shoulders. Going to throw on some jewellery and a sqirt of Marc Jacobs Daisy.

Does that sound ok?
Feel like a teenager again, oh hell hated it the first time round.
Going to a quiet pub out of town so as to avoid any pupils Grin.

lubeybooby · 14/10/2011 13:55

Charlottes what a knoober, ewww

OP posts:
TimeForMeIsFree · 14/10/2011 13:59

That sounds great daisy. I bought a new dress to go with my leggings because my elder DD said I was going to be wearing too much black BUT, I'm going to wear what I originally planned, which is everso slightly more casual, and save the new dress for any follow up dates. We are only going to the local pub so I don't want to stand out like a sore thumb over do it.

I love Marc Jacobs Daisy! I have a spray of it every time I do to Boots Grin The bottle is nice too.

Zanywany · 14/10/2011 14:00

I don't think dressing up will make you look desperate Purple, the outfit sounds lovely.

PoppaRob · 14/10/2011 14:01

pretty... sounds good but I'm a bloke and we have crap taste in clothes apparently but I reckon if you feel comfortable you'll feel confident.

lubeybooby · 14/10/2011 14:03

knoober knobber even!

Thanks for the nice comments re: pic :o

Daisy that sounds great me dear!

Snapespeare · 14/10/2011 14:06

Daisy - DD is right - you've obviously raised her to be very smart! :) You'll look smashing. :)
