I give married ones a free lecture on actually communicating with their wives and making some effort. They soon feck off!

Time yes you are right about why we are single. If I just wanted a boyfriend for the sake of it I could have twelve by tomorrow. They would all be at best semi literate knobbers though!

I'd be happy to pay for a site if I thought it would be worth it, but I've paid for match.com before and barely any men had actually paid, so none of them could actually send messages. It was stupid. I maybe haven't given it a fair go through because I lasted a week before begging for a refund!

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 13:09

Does he really think that sort of message will make you reach your the 'reply' icon Time Grin Next time I get one like that I'm going to say 'sorry but I'm worth more than just being a bit on the side'

Would be interested to know if there are better victims prospects on the paying sites

Definately better to be on your own singing Adele songs to your 27 cats or hugging your dog on the sofa than being with the wrong guy

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:10

me too lubey it's not that I don't get the attention it's that they are not for me. I joined Match on a free trial and the faces were all the same as those on POF. Copied and pasted profiles from there too! I think if we are going to do this properly we need to aim higher, we need a more upmarket site, one for professionals perhaps??

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 13:11

NEVER MIND ILL FIND, SOMEONE LIKE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 13:12

Time or maybe we should hang out in posh places. Henley Regatta? Bouji's? :o

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:13

That's exactly what I did say to him Zany, I told him I don't play second best for anyone Grin no reply so far. Proper minger too. He claimed to be my age but he looked at least 10 years older.

I've been singing a lot of Christina Perri lately, Jar of Hearts being my favourite Grin

And, I'm looking for a cat!

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:15

lubey Grin

There is no posh places in Huddersfield. It's not a glamorous place to live. Lot's of farmers and tractors where I live. I don't want to be a farmer's wife, unsociable hours and ruddy cheeks.

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:16

I still think going to church will be my best option Grin

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 13:16

Fuck it. I'm going to Monaco. brb.

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 13:36

I would go to church but I don't think I would get over the step before lightenening struck me Grin

Thee are quite a few glamorous places in the area where I live but you can't exactly turn up at one for a night out eyeing up men on your own.

I have to admit I love having a dog even more now that I am single. When my DC's are ot their Dad's there is still someone with me and who I can go out on walks with, most people out with there dogs are very sociable so you don't feel as bad talking to others, so far though its the old men that want to chat forever.

Has anyone looked at Mr House yet. Chocdemon on POF

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 13:38

Davina McCall met her lovely husband walking her dog. She went on about it for ages after in various womens mags

Who is Mr House? Will have a look now....

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 13:49

There are quite a few good looking guys that are out with their dogs at the woods near me which I go to alot. I saw one in the pub a few weeks ago and after a few wines went over to introduce myself and say Hi. He looked terrified. HAve since seen his very pretty wife out with the dog Grin

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:56

I've done him Zany not literally of course, just exchanged some messages, he is lovely but it never went anywhere. He was my favourite fish though.

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 13:58

As for a god, me and DD would love one, it's just the commitment, the vets bills and all of that. With me job hunting, I don't know how many hours I'm going to be out of the house so it seems unfair to get a dog. So we are getting a cat instead. Can you get leads for cats?? Grin

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 14:00

Ooh Mr House is nice!

lol time at getting a 'god' :o

I just got the best message yet.

"hi how r u doing?nyway i go through ur profile n i think we can be a good match,if u too r looking for good fren reliable person to share everything...love waiting to hear from u...c u"

lubeybooby · 07/10/2011 14:04

Good job he 'loves waiting to hear from me' isn't it? he will be waiting a VERY LONG TIME Wink

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 14:09

Grin at I've done him. He asked me to meet for coffee in his last email but I'll see if that actually happens.

These gods and their vets bills.... sigh [happy]

Send him a link to a spell checker Lubey

Lucky you Zany!! He is a God! Grin

I hope you agreed to coffee!!!

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 14:15

Of course Wink

On a different note who would like to meet up for Xmas. PM me if you like to tell me whereabout in the country you are and if your interested so we can see if its feasable. Think I need a spell checker. Will you come too Poppa Grin

TimeForMeIsFree · 07/10/2011 14:18

OOh, you must take notes and photos and report back straight away Zany. I need to know if his voice is as smooth as his looks. He looks like he will have a lovely body voice Grin

And ask him if he ever comes to Huddersfield Grin

Zanywany · 07/10/2011 14:26

He might not even take me up on my yes to coffee but I agree it was his body that attracted me Grin

PoppaRob · 07/10/2011 14:30

Thanks for the invitation Zany, but alas the tyranny of distance precludes my acceptance. However... Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine
