I'll start.

I'm 31, single and rather fed up of it now. Have a few internet dating profiles, am trying to improve my social life and get out more, even looking out for possible additional temp jobs just to be.... 'out there' a bit more.

Even had a go at cosmic ordering which has been cropping up in dating related threads recently. Now I'm a very scientific and cynical kind of person but when it comes to my (currently appalling) love life I will try anything to give it a bit of a boost. Whether that be focusing the mind on the task in hand or strange unknown forces I care not.

Someone with writing skills should condense the thread to date into one story and post it on Literotica. Not sure what category it'd go under though... probably novellas or humour.

Poppa - well, if its book material you are after, hows this for amusing:
After the broken sink, i needed something to brace myself aganist as it were ( classy.... huh) so grabbed hold of the loo. ( classyness meter is rising) The loo was one of those push button flushes on the top, you know? So, basically, everytime he thrusted ( which was obviously a lot) my arms moved forward and pushed the flush. hahahaha. Which was very funny and we were both laughing about.. but he didnt stop.. so i couldnt actually move. And this went on for about 15 mins until the damn loo wouldnt flush anymore.
( ponders if the broken sink and broken loo????) is why im not seeing him again.

ok - two things happend last night, while i was stuffing my face with minstrels by way of compensation for a a crappy day. Got contacted by someone who i almost dated, but decided aganist for numerous reasons. On past experiences, and whoever said earlier about slipping standards... i should just say no, shouldnt i? Also, got talking to this guy, he asked me out, we swapped numbers, then he started asking about how many other dates im going on, and how long ive been talkin to them and how he wants to meet me now before they do and how i wont be single in a week and how hes not telling me what to do, but would like me to cancel the other dates. RED FLAG!!!!! right? apols thats hard to read... bloody enter button???!?!??

Watch... definitely red flag. Before you know it you'll be locked in his cellar. I'm not even joking with some of the frankly horrifying threads I've seen about on MN! Just run away very fast

As for the slipping standards... if all the reasons that previously applied not to date that one, still apply, then noooo don't date him!

Well it looks very much like my Mr Friday date is still on for tomorrow, but I'm still treating that as a friend thing so doesn't really count. Aside from that I have a date next week with the one re-arranged from this week. Err.. Wednesday I think we went for.

poppa thanks for the offer Grin Anyway you ladies I'm pissed off with Mr Engineer now (the one that won't commit to 3rd date despite telling me he wants a 3rd date but just incessantly sexts me) and Mr Hot but Dangerous said he wants to see me again but again won't commit...ffs....so I've joined OK Cupid this morning (took me about an hour to complete it!!) ..any tips?

Yeah, i thought that about the one i orginally said no to, and have sent him a message saying so this morning.
The other one is a huge red flag isnt it.
Am chatting to several others... so ill see what turns up. Tentivley have 2 dates next friday.. obviously cant be in two places at once, so will have to cancel one.
