I'll start.

I'm 31, single and rather fed up of it now. Have a few internet dating profiles, am trying to improve my social life and get out more, even looking out for possible additional temp jobs just to be.... 'out there' a bit more.

Even had a go at cosmic ordering which has been cropping up in dating related threads recently. Now I'm a very scientific and cynical kind of person but when it comes to my (currently appalling) love life I will try anything to give it a bit of a boost. Whether that be focusing the mind on the task in hand or strange unknown forces I care not.

Dont be hard on yourself lubey, we all have confidence crisis from time to time. 10lb isnt that much and if it bothers you, then it gives you an action plan for the time being. The humour will come back when you feel better about yourself. I have days where I am the most arrogant confident person on the planet...and days where I feel like hiding in a corner and avoiding all contact with anything in general. Focus on doing what will make you happy and keep chatting to mr friday as you go :)

madame, I usually crash about 1am, get up about 6:30am, and have a few poppa naps while the bub snoozes. Since this thread however I'm finding I crash about 2am, then get up a couple of times to check for new posts, so 3am is closer to reality. helps
