Joy annoys me like mad

Are we sure "life changing" doesn't mean pregnancy? Edited to add : whoops I see that's already been considered.

I thought it might be helpful to pull together all the BBC teasers we have to date. We may be able to make more sense of some of these in the light of the last two episodes. Pleased to see Joy appears to be alive and capable of being shocked by Friday 24th! Rochelle at last?

If Alice - that would be heartbreak for Chris, but maybe he wouldn’t get the news so speedily.

It does sound as if Prodigal Adam might be getting a chance to take over. Can’t think what else that might be.

Joy is shocked by waking up to be greeted by a cheery doctor checking her mental acuity with "So, Mrs Horville, can you tell me how many legs you have? No, try again - I'll give you a clue. It's fewer than two ..."

Indeed. You have to wonder who contacted her. It sounds as though she may have been manifested by that knock on the head Joy got.

I'm annoyed at the unplanned pregnancy. It's too soapy.
It seems that the planned pregnancies are those where the couple (or singleton) did not conceive without intervention.

Poor Alice. George will be found out. His flash phone will be his undoing.

I agree it’s too soapy - and was very ‘signed’.

On the other hand, unplanned pregnancies do happen. Often. So it would be unrealistic not to have them in Ambridge. It’s just that in real life people can make their decisions in private - without Vince broadcasting them to the entire pub …

It's become clear that this is one of those slow-burning SLs for which they're laying the groundwork. On the face of it, if Rochelle exists and knew that her mother has just narrowly escaped death, it seems unlikely that she'd just turn up and then bugger off so quickly.

And why, while they're "up there" removing Fallon's coil, don't they give her a D&C?
