The spoiler thread runs for around a year, but I strongly suspect it gets read about as much as the main thread.

Oh please not Brian - surely that lot losing another parent so soon would be bound to feel repetitive? Him being injured though would make sense.

I haven't got Disney so I'll probably never see it but I have been told the acting is good but it's not faithful to the book. People not familiar with the books won't notice.

I’d slightly prefer to read the Shardlake books first.

But it’s frustrating when the more talented radio actors wander off to bigger stages and have to be written around.

Brian being injured would make more sense - he’s in his 80s so it would take more of a toll, plotline-wise, without killing him off.

Haven’t posted before and unsure of the etiquette however read a suggestion of what might have happened in the mail online (sorry!). Not posting the link but it’s there and kind of made sense to me.

I've looked. It's a classic 'Here are some screenshots of tweets' article. One theory I haven't seen here though - could Roy have been in the car? Not very likely, given the absence of any reference to any of Roy's blood relatives in the cast for the next three weeks. But they are going to have to decide what to do about Roy at some point.

It would have been a good way for Roy to go I suppose.

This story must have been planned for quite a while (perhaps as long ago as when they popped Rex in a canal boat), so I don't think it can be Roy who is deaded.

I also think that Joy is safe, now that Mick is getting a surname.

It might be one of the elderly actors, or somebody we've not heard of for yonks.
