I’m currently wondering what might push Fallon to the ‘end of her tether’ since that future event doesn’t seem to be connected to the tea room.

Might this whole drama cause a schism in the Burns Rogers marriage? (Remembering Caroline and Robin after Mark’s death.)

I meant that Alice going back to rehab wouldn't be conventionally described as life changing.

And yes losing custody of Martha would be life changing but not in the way that phrase is conventionally used.

Fits with Ruairi returning to Ambridge this week. We were discussing this a hundred or so posts ago. I could see Charles Collingwood asking to be written out in a spectacular way if he wants to retire. Presumably Angela Piper did similar. Not yet, though, please!

ETA: surely Tamsin Greig would be back if Brian was in a coma, though? Maybe they can only afford Ruairi.
