Chaos reigns at Grey Gables as it becomes clear to Oliver that details are being missed and plans are not progressing. Lynda believes Adil is overdoing it but her helpful suggestion could cause trouble.
There's tension at the vicarage as Alan struggles with his conscience and he and Usha remain on different pages.
Plans for the Grundys' Halloween walk look shaky, George gets irritated at No 1 The Green, Susan celebrates her big birthday, relations improve for Helen and Emma is inspired.

I do hope George being overrun means that Hannah has left a blackbeetle-farm under the floor in the kitchen!
Oh, and Rob isn't in the cast-lists till the end of this month, not that this means he won't appear since they now leave people out if they want Suspense. His absence won't stop Usha from attacking Alan for the foreseeable future on the grounds that Alan did his job by the book (and by the Book, I suppose) and didn't play the hellfire vicar from 1634 instead of the twenty-first century model which is not supposed to condemn people.... She seems to dislike him so much for being a vicar and doing his job that I can't help wondering why she has stayed with him.
