Radio Times Ambridge Diary 20th – 25th August 2023
At Bridge Farm, Helen discovers some shocking information that causes chaos and appears to have wide-ranging consequences. Tom is furious but Natasha offering some potentially controversial suggestions for the Tea Room proves a distraction, if not necessarily a welcome one.
Emma faces more trouble with George and it feels like make-or-break time for the troubled teen.
Pip is surprised when Toby arrives at Brookfield, making everything more complicated and pushing her into a dramatic decision.
Susan offers some tough love, while one resident struggles to forgive and forget.

Maybe the shocking information that Helen discovers is that they didn't own the shop in Borchester where she ran Ambridge Organics, they only leased it, and they will have to pay the real owners back the money they got when they sold the premises. Nothing to do with Rob is likely to shock anyone particularly at this point, or have wide-ranging consequences, I wouldn't suppose.
I think "troubled teen" is a great deal too mild as a description of George.
