I didn’t know Emma had two friends.

Are there any female characters who’ve chosen not to have children?

Eastpoint · 27/02/2019 07:37

I’m looking forward to Natasha discovering a shocking truth

thislido · 27/02/2019 07:40

Yes!

Motoko · 27/02/2019 09:40

11 Mar Helen admits the truth and Kate attempts some subtle manipulation.

Ooh, is Helen going to tell Lee about her stabby past?

HollowTalk · 03/03/2019 11:31

What was the song that sent Helen over the edge?

thislido · 03/03/2019 17:21

A Corrine Bailey Rae cover of the Bob Marley song 'Is This Love?'.

Bittermints · 03/03/2019 17:22

Can't remember, HollowTalk, but someone with a much better memory than me has said on the other thread that not only was it playing when Rob raped her but also when she stabbed him.

Thanks for the updates, thislido! I imagine Emma's two friends are going to be Lee and Helen. As Lee has never learned to use Google, I suppose he is going to remain in total ignorance until Helen finally opens up to him.

GeorgeTheBleeder · 06/03/2019 12:40

Ok, this looks like a spoiler, from the headline, but there's not much substance in the actual article.

Dumdedumdedum · 06/03/2019 16:55

Far more importantly than that "Archers spoiler" article, GeorgeTheBleeder, what about the link beside it - I can't believe Isaac is going back to Holby!

thislidofullofdeadfish · 07/03/2019 23:12

Mustardland makes my eyes hurt, but I’ve take one for the team. If anyone from Mustardland is reading, I do appreciate not having to return to the RT website, which appears to have been built by an intern at the turn of the century, when we probably still called it work experience.

10 Mar Lily can't help feeling rejected and Tom makes plans for the future.
11 Mar Helen admits the truth and Kate attempts some subtle manipulation.
12 Mar Susan tries to get to the bottom of things and there's an emergency dash at Brookfield.
13 Mar Adam makes a surprising discovery and Rex offers some advice.
14 Mar Emma comes to the rescue and Natasha learns a shocking truth.
15 Mar There's an emotional showdown for Helen and Peggy makes an offer.

Sunday 17th March Leonard makes his presence felt and Pat has a tricky subject to raise.
18 March Helen bends the truth and Russ is not impressed.
19 March There's a change in the air for Jill, and Alice stands firm
20 March Jolene receives an unexpected offer and Peggy attempts a ceasefire.
21st March Helen's lies catch up with her and David wants answers

Radio Times 9 - 15 March 2019

Susan and Clarrie's suspicions are raised by recent events at Bridge Farm, while Natasha is roped into the Lent scheme before discovering a shocking truth - but how will she react? As for Tom, he's standing by his decisions. And let's not forget Helen, who is set for an emotional confrontation.

Elsewhere, Lily fears she's being sidelined as concerns about Freddie's imminent return fester. When Phoebe returns from university, she soon finds herself embroiled in Lily's dramas. Kate's attempts to manipulate a canny Peggy backfire. Plus, Will has some bad news to deliver, but isn't prepared for the reaction he receives - and listen out also for an emergency dash to Brookfield.

Cast: David, Ruth, Pip, Kenton, Jolene, Tom, Phoebe, Susan, Alice, Rex, Clarrie, Will, Mia, Emma, Adam, Kate, Elizabeth, Lily, Hannah, Peggy, Natasha, Lee, Russ

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2019 00:04

Ooo, thanks lido, lots if material there!

I do hope Hannah is pregnant. And Helen tells the truth but is also caught out for lying - hmmm

One more thing...

thislidofullofdeadfish · 08/03/2019 00:16

It was safe with us, Bore Grin

I predict that, tediously, Helen will admit the truth about what happened with Lee to someone like Emma, then will lie to him in the emotional showdown.

I like Jill’s new lease of life.

I hope Hannah isn’t pregnant, simply because I am annoyed by the endless stream of accidental pregnancies on the Archers. I don’t think Natasha knows about Tom jilting Kirsty at the altar yet. Could it be that he hasn’t thought to mention John yet, or would that be too weird?

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/03/2019 02:22

Well, she's met Johnny, so she must know about John.

I think you're probably right about Helen.

GeorgeTheBleeder · 08/03/2019 05:15

Oooh - Jill! Is she about to turf Carol out of Glebe Cottage and move back there with Leonard, so she can iron his shirts?

Alternatively might the SWs move her into retirement by having her go and live with him outside Ambrdge? Shock

Or ... Wildcard: Pip and Rosie move back into Brookfield and Jill and Leonard take up residence at Rickyard?

I didn't notice the Holby thing Dumdedum! (Don't own a TV. Grin )

Thanks lido!

thislidofullofdeadfish · 08/03/2019 06:19

Oh of course, Johnny is a bit of a giveaway!

MikeUniformMike · 08/03/2019 18:12

In think Natasha will find out about Helen's skills with a carving knife.
Hannah will be up the duff.
Carol will move away and Jill and Leonard will move into Glebe. The bad news at Brookfield is that there will no longer be casseroles for tea.
Kate will try to move into Aunty Cardboard's room at the lodge but Peggy will tell her where to go.

UnspiritualHome · 10/03/2019 21:34

Could Natasha's shocking discovery be something that prevents her getting her mitts on Bridge Farm as easily as she thinks?

Motoko · 10/03/2019 22:17

We can hope.

UnspiritualHome · 13/03/2019 09:49

More up:
13 Mar Adam makes a surprising discovery and Rex offers some advice.
14 Mar Emma comes to the rescue and Natasha learns a shocking truth.
15 Mar There's an emotional showdown for Helen and Peggy makes an offer.
17 Mar Leonard makes his presence felt and Pat has a tricky subject to raise.
18 Mar Helen bends the truth and Russ is not impressed.
19 Mar There's a change in the air for Jill, and Alice stands firm
20 Mar Jolene receives an unexpected offer and Peggy attempts a ceasefire.
21 Mar Helen's lies catch up with her and David wants answers
22 Mar Contemporary drama in a rural setting.
24 Mar Lily fears for the future and Shula continues her quest to fill the void
25 Mar Tom discovers a surprising truth and Pip has reservations
25 Mar A business meeting ends badly for Pat and Leonard doesn’t think he's up to scratch
27 Mar It’s all change for Alistair and Ed feels suffocated
28 Mar Natasha is put on the spot and Will offers a solution
29 Mar Freddie returns to Ambridge but has his prison experience changed him for better or worse?

22nd March is a Friday so presumably they're trying to keep something dramatic under wraps.

GabrielleNelson · 13/03/2019 10:50

Freddie returns to Ambridge on what is looking increasingly unlikely to be Brexit day! What a remarkable coincidence. Hmm

Thanks, Unspiritual!

Motoko · 13/03/2019 11:16

I hope Peggy's offer isn't to Kate.

thislido · 14/03/2019 21:12

Thanks Unspiritual.

JazzersMaw · 16/03/2019 00:22

I think Jill‘s going to announce she’s moving on with Leonard. How will they all cope without her as their skivvy? Badly I expect.

JazzersMaw · 16/03/2019 00:26

I wonder what Tom‘s surprising truth is. That he’s a ‚stoat rhymes with #@*&‘ and nobody likes him bc he’s obsessed with sausages and whatever his latest notion is?

Agiftofknives · 16/03/2019 14:50

I would imagine the Brookfield lot would develop malnutrition if Jill moved out.
