20 Feb Jill is shocked by the truth about recent events and Kenton pleads for mercy.
21 Feb Will struggles as Nic's anniversary approaches and Susan deals with an emergency.

Radio Times 23 Feb - 1 Mar

Prepare yourself for some posh, indignant whining as Alice locks horns with Kate and refuses to forgive her for her part in the sale of Home Farm. Jennifer, meanwhile, sets foot in her former residence, but is left horrified by what she discovers. There are tensions too for dads-to-be Adam and Ian - with the Grey Gables chef starting to question whether his husband really wants their sought-after baby.

There's a disaster for the Grundys that looks set to have serious financial implications. And how will Joe react when he receives some difficult-to-hear news from Clarrie & Eddie? Plus, Helen & Lee struggle with their respective shyness - can they overcome it to find a happy ever after?

Well, it looks as if Joe survives for a bit longer. Good. Also looks as if Jennifer is going to see her massively expensive kitchen ripped out and languishing in a skip - or else every room in the house carpeted with mattresses to pack in as many paying guests/tenants as possible.

Eddie and Clarrie had already started talking about 'after Joe'. Perhaps if Grange Farm becomes financially unsustainable they might be thinking about finding somewhere not-The-Laurels for him, and renting an affordable flat for the two of them?

Oliver agreeing to let Grange Farm to the Grundy clan was always a fairy tale. If there is going to be some kind of return to realism, in the end they will have to leave, or Oliver may have to do a Willow Farm and divide the house into two units, one for him and one for Eddie and Clarrie. Ed'n'Em need their own home.

That flipping ram is going to snuff it I think.

I hope not, Emma will collapse under the weight of the enormous chip on her shoulder if Ed’s perpetual bad luck strikes again. Fingers crossed, as it says things are looking up for him.

All that 'things looking up for him' is Oatface softening him up for arm-twisting into something disastrous.

Is Natasha (boo, hiss) going to buy that piece of land and has persuaded Tom they should set up a separate side-business together? That would certainly give Pat 'concerns'.

I wonder if Joe going quiet currently is going to be a precursor to him spilling the beans about Nic running over Tiger, hence Will learning the truth on the 5th?

Will knows the truth. Nic came home in a state after it happened and Will cleaned up the car. He also drove back to the scene and saw the police there so didn’t stop. He told Ed after Nic died.

Then he worried about Ed knowing and Ed told him he’d “forgotten” already and he suggested Will did the same. It was a nice scene between them.

I can’t remember if either of them know that Nic said anything to Joe.

We could but then I suppose everyone would have to be allowed to bury a character and once you’ve taken into account all our dislikes there would be no cast left.

I think Ed did know as Joe was worrying about it. And I think it was shown in that conversation between Joe and Brian that Joe had worked out the truth (that Nic wasn't mistaken in her confession), but decided to drop it so as not to upset the family more.

Is it too much to hope that she has to sacrifice Natasha? I see it can’t be Tom as he appears a few days later. Unless his ‘big day’ is his funeral.
