I don't post often but I really do appreciate the thread. Thank you Gumpendorf,

The only people I can think of who would actually frighten Elizabeth are Ellis or Rob but it doesn't actually say she is "left terrified" by a person doing something so could it be by a conversation with Freddie.

Bekabeech · 08/12/2018 23:09

The mysterious extra person at Christmas is going to be Derek Fletcher as he now has a speaking part.

Bittermints · 09/12/2018 06:21

Wasn't it Nathan Booth who has the speaking part, or are they both going to speak? I wonder if we'll get a famous thespian in, as so often happens with these specials. IIRC Nathan is Neville's nephew so presumably an Ambridge native and not very elderly. Wide field there!

Bekabeech · 09/12/2018 08:30

Oops sorry! Yes Nathan

Bittermints · 09/12/2018 08:44

Surprised you confused them, Bekabeech, their voices are so distinct! Grin

Thanks Gump

Looks like Russ will be LoLo's unexpected visitor and will hang around like a bad smell - leading to Lily taking out her frustrations on him.

Wonder if he is the terrifying encounter too. Caught in flagrante doing something unmentionable?

witchmountain · 11/12/2018 22:55

I wondered if that would be Elizabeth’s surprising decision. She’s all over the place isn’t she.

Wondering what Kirsty will be livid about. Something Philip related? The play?

Eastpoint · 14/12/2018 06:20

It sounds as if Emma is going to get caught up with the contents of fhe Poetaloo.

Thanks Grump - Tim? Not Tim Beecham?

Bittermints · 18/12/2018 12:36

Thanks, Gumpendorf! Siobhan's husband was a Tim too. No Kenton, which is a pity given he dubbed Russ in to the college. Would have made a toecurling encounter over Christmas lunch!

DeepanKrispanEven · 18/12/2018 14:17

I wonder if the truth Pat is trying to find out about is some murky secret relating to Natasha, leading to Tom giving cause for concern?

witchmountain · 18/12/2018 20:22

Thanks Gump, happy Christmas!

echt · 19/12/2018 03:43

Here we go:

"Kirsty is livid" about Tom moving next door.

Lynda's "terrifying ultimatum" is 1) a well- rehearsed directorial flounce on the Canterbury Tales OR 2) A threat to come back next year for the "last time" a la Frank Sinatra.

"Turkey tension" is the face off between Russ/Lily and , er....everybody else in the world as he disses the non-organic Brookfield turkey.

Or not. :o

witchmountain · 19/12/2018 20:42

Re Kirsty, I hope not, I’d rather she was given the dignity of just having moved on.

Eastpoint · 20/12/2018 23:05

I’d like to draw attention to my post of 14/12. Just feeling a little smug.

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/12/2018 21:55

Oh well done Eastpoint

And thanks Gump

Merry Christmas to all

Bittermints · 23/12/2018 13:19

Merry Christmas, spoiler lovers! Especial thanks to Gump for acting as our pusher keeping us supplied.

I'm assuming Helen is going to The Bull on New Year's Eve in the hope of seeing Lee but will miss him by a few minutes. I heard part of the omnibus today and was struck again by how bitter he is about his ex. Run, Helen, run!

witchmountain · 23/12/2018 22:08

I want Lee to turn out to be a good 'un!

Or if he's not for Helen to spot it early.

Happy Christmas all, and thanks Gump for your sterling work and occasional Trump interjection.

witchmountain · 24/12/2018 07:47

I don't want to hear about anything else being stored in the Home Farm barns. What if it's those that burn to a crisp? Shock

Bittermints · 24/12/2018 12:02

I wonder what Adam thinks about having to find room in the barns for the entire contents of Home Farm? Presumably they aren't standing empty at present.

daffodilbrain · 25/12/2018 11:57

I just can't get over how Kate has been brushed over! Let's face it who in real life would accept her appalling behaviour? She caused the move and has scarpered. Crikey She's a 40'plus woman - the free spirit hippy attitude is just a bit sad and stupid now.do those people exist at all now?
