It will probably be Lucky or Holly who gets the bullet.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 23/07/2019 17:50

Wot, LuckyTheGnome? Haven't heard him mentioned for years!

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2019 18:32

No. Lucky, Lilian's dog.

QuaterMiss · 23/07/2019 18:42

Lilian’s dog is called Ruby! (AFAIR)

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2019 19:08

She is!

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 23/07/2019 20:21

Lucky was a Grundy turkey. (One of how many? I hear you all ask.)

TherapistInATabard · 25/07/2019 11:17

Does anyone else think that there aren't any other 'bad men', just Timotei? So him saying he's under pressure etc is bollix and he's just a right wrongun

MikeUniformMike · 25/07/2019 18:50

Radio Times Ambridge Diary July 28-Aug 2
Will is attempting to make amends after last week’s outburst, but it’s clear the nightmare is just beginning for one family. Will their desperate attempts to salvage the situation work?
Someone else under fire is Adam, who is forced to reveal some harsh home truths in order to get himself off the hook. But it seems that his words will cause even more problems for one already troubled villager.
Lynda appears to be at the mercy of Ruairi and Ben, who continue to hijack plans for the summer fête. Just wait until you hear about their latest idea for promotion.
Finally, over at Greenacres, Jim is channelling his energies into a new project, but finds himself blind-sided by a very personal request.

Motoko · 25/07/2019 19:41

My thoughts:
Emma left humiliated=something to do with the house, or something she's bought/planning on buying. Credit problems, or not having the money for that coffee table she's buying from Fallon?

Jazzer's going to go to the police.

Linda's sacrifice= allowing someone else to take control, something to do with Ben and Ruari maybe?

Tracy, Emma and Ed, all to do with Ed's driving job, causing problems with the house buying? Is Harrison going to be arresting Ed? I saw he was in the cast list.

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/07/2019 21:24

And what's happening with Neil? Looks like he's getting the sack due to something Will does.

And thanks again, Asking

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 25/07/2019 22:02

Thanks, Asking!

QuaterMiss · 25/07/2019 23:16

Excellent! Haven’t heard tonight’s but Susan is conspicuously absent next week - while her husband and sister are prominent. I do hope she’s ok.

Thanks!

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 27/07/2019 17:59

And today's Daily Mail
Weekend Magazine Archers Update July 28-Aug 2
August beats down on Ambridge, stoking up trouble. Will, shamed by last week’s outburst, trudges along, weighed down with worry and, desperate to make amends, aware that another dark cloud is on the heat hazed horizon.
Adam is also feeling the emotional heat, and, finding himself under fire, let’s loose a few home truths that do little to cool things down.
Emma is also suffering, and finds herself flame-cheeked with humiliation, while Ruth boils over.
The Grundys try to keep their spirits up as they up sticks once again - heading for No 1 The Green - but will advice from Tracey make things better or worse?
Meanwhile, Lynda seethes away as Ruairi and Ben come up with yet another hot-headed scheme to spark up this year’s summer fête.

+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+
I am a bit puzzled: if MeanEd are not going to be able to move into the new house, where will they and their kids live when Clarrie'n'Eddie ('n'Joe) move to 1, the Green? That little house won't fit five adults and two children, to say nothing of the dog.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 28/07/2019 13:37

Lynda makes the ultimate sacrifice makes the shepherd's hut available?

BoreOfWhabylon · 29/07/2019 20:07

Hmm. I suspect Oliver might be the one to help MeanEd out of their financial doldrums (Ed confesses and Oliver is impressed).

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 30/07/2019 07:23

Thanks, Asking!

Is Emma going to humiliate herself further by asking Ruth for a loan? Or will Ruth boil over about something else? Can't remember when we last heard her or David.

rivermum · 30/07/2019 14:33

Long time lurker here. IIRC it was Oliver who introduced Tim to Ed, so PP's prediction that Oliver will help them out feels plausible.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 30/07/2019 17:35

Hello, rivermum! I'd forgotten that. Makes a deus ex machina solution to this grim storyline a touch less implausible.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/07/2019 18:27

Thanks rivermum, and welcome!

I remember now and, with that extra bit of info, I don't think I need my 🔮 to confidently predict that Ollie will come to the rescue.

Isatis · 01/08/2019 13:54

"Kate makes her feelings clear": I do hope that isn't going to be some toe-curlingly awful scene where she propositions Jakob.

Kate flirts with Jakob at a massage session, but when he gets the wrong end of the stick, it proves to be a humiliating experience.
