Haha, that's so true Isatis!

echt · 13/07/2019 13:33

Spot on, Isatis

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 13/07/2019 14:47

Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update July 14-19
Peggy sits in the Lodge like a Borgia dowager, commanding relatives to come at her bidding. They come, of course, lured by the Ambridge Conservation Trust challenge. Lilian is summoned this week and told that another change is in the pipeline. News of this filters through to Ambridgers who will soon, if Tom and Natasha get their way, be living in gloom, regularly concussed by falling apples.
They are certainly in gloom up at Greenacres, where recent revelations have cast a dreadful shadow.
Things are little better in Grundyland, where Clarrie has a rare night out ruined by a revelation, and where Bev arrives with a thing or two to say to Will.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/07/2019 16:37

Thanks, Asking! I think Isatis must be right that Clarrie is going to find out about Poppy going out with Will when he does his rounds at night. Oh dear.

Motoko · 13/07/2019 18:47

I mentioned Clarrie finding out about Poppy first! Grin

I loved the bit about Peggy Borgia, and Ambridgers getting concussed!

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 15/07/2019 19:39

Well done you for Isatis and Motoko.

Motoko · 15/07/2019 20:40
Grin

Trouble is, now Clarrie's told Will she'll have Poppy anytime he has to work. Does that mean she'll even cancel shifts at work, if he can't find anyone else to have her?

Isatis · 15/07/2019 23:54

Yes, indeed, I can't take any credit for forecasting that the revelation would be about Will as I assumed it would be Ed's pesticide stash. I changed horses when I read Motoko's thoughts, so all the credit goes to her.

echt · 16/07/2019 12:00

I love the way the TA women all sort out his problems. Does someone have a spreadsheet on this. Hmm

Radio Times 21 - 26 July 2019
Jim is in better spirits, though that doesn’t stop Jazzer from supporting him by seeing off enquiries from Susan and Lynda. But when another resident criticises Jim’s behaviour, Jazzer finds himself pushed to the edge.
And he’s not the only one seeing red: trouble is coming to the door of Grange Farm and, as Will discovers a horrifying truth, an angry confrontation has unforeseen consequences …
There’s tension at Bridge Farm as Tom’s lack of urgency over the pigs causes problems. Can he be convinced to find a new supplier?
And, finally, there is some happy news: little Rosie’s first birthday is celebrated in style, even if Toby, the over-eager dad, goes way over the top.

Motoko · 18/07/2019 17:38

Ooh, wonder what the terrible, unforeseen consequences are?

Thanks Asking.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/07/2019 18:04

Thanks, Asking!

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/07/2019 21:06

Oh, I do hope the angry confrontation doesn't precipitate Joe's demse! I really don't want them to do it that way Sad

And thanks Askng

BoreOfWhabylon · 19/07/2019 21:06

Asking!

Motoko · 19/07/2019 23:49

God no, that would be terrible! And not a very nice way to say goodbye to the actor (mind gone blank on his name, sorry). He should have a natural, peaceful, dignified death.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 20/07/2019 22:39

Edward Kelsey.

Someone has sent me Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update July 21 - 26:

Clarrie puts her apron over her head and has a little weep as she prepares, yet again to pack up the Grundy’s battered brass candlesticks and move home. It will not be the only sorrow for a Grundy this week as an angry confrontation leads Will into deep, deep trouble.
Up at Greenacres, a little light lifts the gloom when a neighbour manages to coax Jim to take a few steps along the road to recovery.
Jazzer, however, still broods away, and there’s more trouble up at Bridge Farm, where Tom’s lackadaisical attitude to the pigs fuels another family feud.

==============================
It's all a bit strange: why are they moving before they have to? And where will Ed and Emma live if they do?

QuaterMiss · 21/07/2019 00:16

Who is your mysterious ‘someone’ Asking???

(Gratitude to you both ...)

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 21/07/2019 15:22

It's a non-Mumsnet friend; if she posted to Mumsnet I'd ask her to put them here herself, but she just shares them with me by email.

I think her mum take sit, so she doesn't always see it.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 21/07/2019 15:22

*takes it, not take sit!

MikeUniformMike · 22/07/2019 19:39

wonder what Will will be in trouble for

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/07/2019 19:42

I think he will accidentally shoot someone.

Motoko · 22/07/2019 20:00

Ooh, yes, that's a possibility. He did say he thinks there's a fox around.

CaptainMyCaptain · 23/07/2019 10:35

Perhaps he'll shoot Timotei.

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2019 11:12

Not Joe, please. Not Joe.

QuaterMiss · 23/07/2019 11:52

Would be excellent if he shot Tim. Fatally.
