By George, you've got it! Grin That's the way round it. Thanks.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 18/05/2019 20:27

I've got the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update May 19-24 to go with the rest of next week's spoilers:

Blasts from the past constantly howl through Lower Loxley, bringing woe to that unhappy ancestral home. This time, it’s Elizabeth who bears the brunt of it, while Freddie - having very much got the wrong end of the stick about inheriting his late father’s Mr Snowy title - makes a big decision about his future.
There are troubles as well under the humbler roof of Grange Farm, where Ed, burdened by his deception, struggles to get free of the tentacles of crime.
Talking of crime, Harrison takes some time away from minor policing matters to get to grips with the Great Missing Bunting Mystery. Meanwhile, Tom takes an emotional risk, and Leonard steps into an Archer feud.

thislido · 22/05/2019 13:33

Thanks Asking.

The only emotional risk I’m interested in Tom taking is to get better acquainted with himself rather than playing the role of Tom Archer, Replacement for John, Businessman With Businesswoman Wife etc.

Acis · 22/05/2019 15:29

29 May Kate's new project has unexpected consequences and Adam has reservations.

4 June Elizabeth braces herself for the truth and Jill loses her temper
5 June Ed finds himself cornered while Adam and Ian take the plunge
6 June Alistair takes a walk down memory lane and Natasha leads the charge

Ed getting into the shit yet again???? Who saw that coming?

TherapistInATabard · 22/05/2019 16:42

Kirsty! Natasha! Kate! Lynda! Adam! Ian! Josh! Philip (snooze)

GeorgeTheBleeder · 22/05/2019 17:27

I have been meaning to say for aaaaaaages that the bunting returner will turn out to be a feathered, flying creature. I had evidence but have forgotten it all now ...

Oh yes! Stray bits of bunting are always being discovered high up - in hanging baskets or erm ... other places. And they’re being unmasked in an episode with Philip - who is only ever heard observing birds or roofing.

Are Adam and Ian swimming to Lexi?

Thanks Acis!

BoreOfWhabylon · 24/05/2019 19:43

It will be like the magpies in The Detectorists.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/05/2019 19:50

Thanks, Acis! What's Peggy up to, I wonder? Of course it's June Spencer's 100th birthday on 14th June, so only right that Peggy should be centre stage at the time.

Radio Times 1st - 7th June
Anticipation is building for Jim's birthday tribute night on Friday, but Lynda finds herself faced with a tough challenge when Jazzer asks her to say a few words about the main man. Now, obviously, there are a few choice comments Lynda would like to make, but tasked coming up with something positive proves to be a big ask. Might she have to do the unthinkable and actually get to know Jim?
The Aldridge clan try to get Adam and Ian to make the most of their freedom before the baby arrives, but Kate's suggestion is met with horror. Over at Brookfield, Jill loses her temper before dropping an unexpected bombshell. Meanwhile, a car accident looks set to expose more than one guilty secret....

(as usual, I may or may not see the Daily Mail spoiler)

Motoko · 30/05/2019 23:19

Hmm, the car accident. Could that be Will? Taking Poppy to work with him, as one guilty secret, and the other, the fact that it was his car that hit Matt Crawford when Nic was driving it?

At first, I thought Ed and Tim, but I could only think of one secret with them.

thislido · 30/05/2019 23:26

The spoilers for that week suggest Ed. I suppose it could involve someone else, for instance Will.

That or Natasha’s car isn’t insured!

Thanks for posting it!

Ghostontoast · 31/05/2019 14:18

Maybe the bunting thief has a car accident and his/her/its boot is stuffed with it.

Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update 2nd-7th June
Another sister from beyond the Am arrives in the village. Let’s hope that the appearance of Alistair’s sibling, Fiona, doesn’t lead to the same crass level of script writing and acting provoked by the late Nigel’s sister a couple of weeks back. Fiona has rocked up for the Prof’s tribute night, where, with a bit of luck, things could go very badly indeed.
Things are going pretty badly up at Brookfield, where Jill boils over - then drops a bombshell - and there’s a showdown about the mystery guest Josh has smuggled into the family home.
Meanwhile, Ed does his best to get free of the tentacles of rural crime, Kate comes up with another bad idea, Clarrie is worried and - excitingly - PC Burns gets a promising lead on the bunting.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/06/2019 15:15

Thanks, Asking! Adjoa Andoah is a longstanding R4 actress, I seem to recall, so I expect to recognise her voice. Sisters from beyond the Am is a good phrase - I wonder if we will ever get to hear Clarrie's sister Rosie from Great Yarmouth.

Isatis · 01/06/2019 16:14

Perhaps Jill's bombshell is that she's moving in with Leonard.

MikeUniformMike · 01/06/2019 18:26

Nah, she's pregnant.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/06/2019 19:42
