I thought JD had moved on after the prison sentence. She has to deal presumably with the knowledge that Alice's MIL and BlLs have done time. I agree she’s likely to be more concerned after Matt went off last time. Lilian was v upset and Jenny does seem to care about her. I think l must have missed Shula - l think l am paying attention, then find my mind has wandered. Oh well. LA here l come.

I don't know where they'd have got her details from - has he ever been in Borchester General before, as a patient? He clearly wasn't in a state to have given details on admittance last night. Presumably he had his phone and wallet on him, so they'don't have hot some detsils from tat, amd the taxi driver Ii gues knew his name. But Lilian and Matt were never actually married. I'm not quite sure how they would have reached the conclusion that Lilian is NoK, so perhaps that's why they were at pains to tell us she is

Justin drove Lillian to the hospital. If his car had a Matt-shaped dent in it, Lillian would have noticed.

I think someone else hit Matt, but that Justin, driving back to the Hunt Ball after failing to find Matt on the village green, came across him lying injured on the road. He stopped, got out, then we heard him get back in the car and drive away.

Perhaps they married while living in radio4 extra, and Lil forgot.

I didn't get the bit about waiting to see if he (Matt) came round. If he's in a coma with likely brain damage, a CT scan is the first stop, isn't it? Even if Borchester General doesn't have one, they'd send him somewhere that does?
