Adam and Justin will be the main suspects but as others have said they are both too obvious to be the perp.

So who is capable of doing a hit and run?

Freddy and Nolethando - under the influence of mushrooms
Josh - in his new flash motor and wary of picking up speeding points
James - because he is dodgy
Lily - because she's a speed merchant and scared of being breathalysed
Anisha - because she just can't risk any more scandal.

I wonder who's going to find Matt and help him?

Will we have an episode tonight he completely ignores this story line ?

adam and justin are the obvious candidates. it could have been some random from the next village though. too bloody convenient to be either adam or justin.

I want Adam banged up on remand until at least Christmas so Home Farm have to get Ed to cover for him.

Tonight's episode, my guess:
A 'did you hear about Matt Crawford' comment from random 1 to random 2, perhaps in the village shop and Lilian overhearing.
Regardless, Lilian somehow hearing the news late and being upset and rushing to be by his bedside.
Justin & Adam & Lily & Freddie all acting a bit hungover/guilty

Really splendid episode I thought. Lilian's bedside monologue was beautifully written and delivered. (But perhaps I'm easily pleased as I don't watch many soaps?)

So Shula was a bit off - concerned Alastair's done something stupid?

Where's Mysticbore for a prediction on Justin's fate ?
I think Matt will recover, but be left brain damaged and have no memory of anything at all, including Lillian.
Justin will have a heart attack....or die of a brain tumour (hence the "migrane")

I thought Matt's fate was too similar to Rob's - both left in a coma with everyone wondering how it's going to go.

And I thought if Justin did know what happened, he did a convincing job of pretending he didn't.

I can’t believe the way they’ve realigned JD’s personality. She would never be so silly and so unkind. Awful.

Did anyone think Justin sounded guilty as hell? All his questioning of Harrison about what they were looking for? Before that, was it a hit and run? Why would you ask that when you’ve only just heard of an accident? Or did l miss a big revelation before that? Maybe l just want it to be him!

Lilian was good though - good lines, good acting. And Peggy and Noluthando were great.

Jenny was unusually unkind. But let's not forget Matt utterly disgraced not just her sister but the whole clan by getting himself sent to jail. Don't suppose she could ever forgive that. (And what an awkward situation in the hospital cafe with Justin. Possibly she was trying clumsily to counteract the truth of Lil being in the ward tending to Matt.)

I found it more unbelievable that she should rejoice in Lilian tying herself to Justin.

Does Shula have a face like thunder because she has found out that Matt's prize, like the man himself, was a no-show. It's a bit embarrassing if your top raffle prize doesn't materialise (pun not intended). Thank goodness it was her aunt who won it.

i don't think it's the going to jail that bothers jenny - more the dumping her sister and running off with all her cash...

I think Bore is on to me - I am actually going to Zurich.

And er, this briefcase I'm taking into a discreet Swiss bank definitely doesn't contain a large number of banknotes that a certain MC passed to me for safekeeping, no sir.
