And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Thanks Gump.

Will Nic have the same voice?

Ceto · 14/04/2017 01:06

Perhaps the Dopeys can recoup some of their losses by booting Pip and Towbee out of Rickyard and letting it out for holidays again. It would be quite good to see both of them having to cope somewhere where they pay a market rent and can't go and nick Jill's baking when they feel hungry

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/04/2017 07:42

Thanks, Gump! I see Tesco got into trouble with religious people the other day by saying that their special offers would make Good Friday even better. I will therefore refrain from saying that that teaser for tonight will make Good Friday the Best Friday Ever. Grin Now I just want to see a teaser that says something like 'Pip departs for New Guinea' or 'Toby falls into the slurry pit'.

PseudoBadger · 14/04/2017 07:57

Perhaps Oliver is hoping to pop into Grange Farm?

Gumpendorf · 14/04/2017 16:33

Maybe New Guinea can be Pip's penance?!

Becky Wright is listed as Nic so no nuNic. I do so like Hugh the editor.

Radio Times
23 April to 28 April

So, the glorious Matt Crawford – who should never have been dispensed with in the first place – has resurfaced and is giving Brian a sob story. Matt's version of events is that he was so cut up by Lilian's affair with his half brother Paul that he just had to get away. With all the funds in their account, of course. No, he is claiming he wants to repay what he took. But does Brian believe him?

David is keen to mend Brookfield's damaged relationships with its neighbouring farms. He offers them compensation, but Tom is scornful and urges Tony to demand more. Plus, Toby has reached the end of the road when it comes to his artisan gin production. This listener couldn't be happier.

Gumpendorf · 21/04/2017 20:37

23 April. Toby reaches the end of the road, and Emma comes under fire.
24 April. David and Ruth reach a decision, while Brian has reason to celebrate.
25 April. Ambridge Hall is invaded, and Tom angles for a better deal.
26 April. Matt lays it on thick, and Usha lends an ear.
27 April. Pip finds the comfort she needs, and Justin cannot be calmed.
28 April. Brookfield needs to dig deeper, and Kenton strikes a deal.

30 April. Brookfield tightens its belt, while Grange Farm holds off an eager visitor.
1 May. Adam considers his future at Home Farm, and Lilian is at a loose end.
2 May Ed's prospects take a hit, and Emma finds an ally.
3 May. Eddie worries about being found out, and Matt's advice falls on deaf ears.
4 May. Shula thinks she has the answer, and Harrison has a tough decision.
5 May. Pip wants to pay her penance, and Toby wants to make things better.

7 May Kirsty has a day to remember, and there is a family gathering at Home Farm.
8 May Jill has a bone to pick with David, and Pip does not want to be a burden.
9 May Peggy has to make a tough decision, and Brian has a sudden realisation.
10 May. Toby is keen to impress, and Alice sounds out Adam.
11 May Matt extends his network, and Usha works her magic.
12 May Toby cannot believe what he is hearing, while Lilian wants Justin to be less hard-line.

TheAntiBoop · 21/04/2017 21:03

So who comforts pip?

Ceto · 22/04/2017 17:45

Oh no, not another disaster for Ed.

Why would Matt come up with that load of rubbish for Brian, and why would it work? Brian only has to talk to Lillian to discover the Paul thing was resolved ages ago, and even if he did leave because he was so upset, why would he do so without giving his reasons, and why would being upset lead to him walking off with all that money?

redshoeblueshoe · 23/04/2017 00:06

Anti I did suggest on the 13/4 that Rex will shag comfort Pip

TheAntiBoop · 23/04/2017 07:24

Mwtt confided in Brian at the time didn't he?

I suppose he took the money to punish her

Radio Times
29th April to 5th May

The IBR outbreak has prompted belt tightening at Brookfield – and the decision to bring all the work in house. So, of course, despite being free from blame, the ones who will really suffer will be the Grundys, who must now be denied regular work from David and Ruth.

Mind you, Eddie has other problems that hit closer to home, namely Clarrie chastising him for letting pigs onto protected land. With Kirsty getting suspicious, might she discover the truth and report the Grundys for damaging the Site of Special Scientific Interest (try saying that after five pints of Shires).

Finally, Lillian admits to Jolene that she is unsettled by Justin's mood as his divorce proceedings continue…

TheAntiBoop · 27/04/2017 13:17

Cue an angry ed spelling the beans in the pub....

TheAntiBoop · 27/04/2017 13:17

Spilling may be easier...

Mootsie · 27/04/2017 13:21

They should turf Pip and Towbeee out of Rickyards and go back to using it as a holiday let.

Will bringing the work in house mean horrible Josh might have to roll up his sleeves and do some manual work rather than just strut around barking orders?

If he'd mended the fence he damaged.............

Thanks for the update, Gumpendorf

Thanks, Gump! Do we think Pip is going to send Toebeeeee packing? I hope so, and that he then leaves, but this may be too much to hope for.

Peggy to marry again? Civil partnership with Jean Harvey? New will establishing the Jack Woolley Memorial Sanctuary for Abandoned Ponies and no money to go to anyone in the family? Grin

Gumpendorf · 06/05/2017 22:43

Radio Times
7 May to 12 May.
Jill, whose voice can have you reaching for the volume button at times, is on super angry form, railing at David because she's been kept in the dark about Brookfield's troubling finances. The explanation that they didn't want to worry her only makes her more annoyed. But will David let his mother foot the bill for their catalogue of errors?

Elsewhere, boardroom intrigue abounds as Matt gives a sales pitch to Justin's horse racing friend Latif, while Justin delegates a last minute presentation to a grumpy Brian. Is Justin dedicating too much energy to battling Miranda in the divorce courts? And, in pet related news, will Anisha and Peggy fall out over treatment for an ailing Bill the cat?

Gumpendorf · 09/05/2017 11:46

Radio Times
14 - 19 May

David needs cash following the fallout from the IBR outbreak and approaches his brother for help. Kenton assumes that a free meal at the Bull will suffice, while what David is really after is a repayment of the loan he stumped up for when the pub needed repairs. Now, if only Kenton hadn't made that recent investment in Toby's gin business...

Toby's venture could be in danger, thanks to his moping at the bungalow. Can Rex energise his brother before he throws it all away?

Finally Miranda calls round to the Dower House and warns Lillian over the move she's making from mistress to wife to be. Does she realise that she is merely creating a vacancy for the next "other woman"?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/05/2017 13:13

Cripes! Thanks, Gump!

Gruach · 11/05/2017 19:31

That all sounds fun!

So many people have predicted that David would want the loan to Kenton repaid - its nice that we'll see that played out.

Ceto · 12/05/2017 00:49

I don't understand how Jolene would have agreed to that investment in Toby's business if it meant using money that wasn't theirs. I hope they'll explain that.
