And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Does that mean it will be two whole weeks before the Dopeys find out it was Pip? Presumably Sunday's 'Ed raises a concern' will be about Adam's cows?

whataboutbob · 31/03/2017 17:46

Agreed Mootsie, which is why I thought the elderly parent story did not add up.

Megatherium · 31/03/2017 20:18

Come to think of it, we've also had the elderly parent SL with Rex. Next thing we know, it'll turn out that Towbee was sneaking off to Brighton to visit his old mum.

Radio Times
9 to 14 April

The most pressing issue is still the IBR outbreak as Tom goes public with his view on the crisis. What will happen when word reaches Brookfield about the negative publicity? Elsewhere, tensions simmer between Ed and Emma. She wants to provide more for her children; he won't accept that he can't single-handedly keep his family afloat. Enter Clarrie with her own view on the matter…

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 06/04/2017 11:28

Thanks, Gump! I can't wait to hear Pip at bay. This could ruin Brookfield (she said, hopefully).

Megatherium · 07/04/2017 19:17

I did wonder whether that window on the past was Matt ...

26 April. Matt lays it on thick, and Usha lends an ear.
27 April. Pip finds the comfort she needs, and Justin cannot be calmed.
28 April. Brookfield needs to dig deeper, and Kenton strikes a deal.*

Gruach · 08/04/2017 08:54

Does that sound as if Matt is winning?

Gruach · 08/04/2017 08:55

(Thanks btw!)

Vango · 08/04/2017 10:47

Honestly, there's something for everyone these days! I don't know if I'm more excited about Pip's storyline or Matt's!

mummytime · 08/04/2017 11:48

I'm hopeful Pip is getting her comeuppance and Toby is off?

Megatherium · 08/04/2017 14:10

If Pip is being cornered on Friday, does that mean we've got a whole week of her ducking and diving? Surely Ed would spill the beans sooner than that if she keeps her mouth shut?

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 09/04/2017 01:02

I'm so looking forward to Pip's downfall.

Stickerrocks · 09/04/2017 10:38

Hating the Pip storyline. I expected her to have a bit more backbone and not let Toby convince her to hide the truth.

The Easter day lunch at Brookfield is set to be a tense affair, with the family trading insults and accusations rather than eggs. Feeling shunned by her family and getting no sympathy from Toby, a morose Pip can only find comfort in Jill.

Jennifer, meanwhile, wonders about the reason for Lilian's buoyant mood. She insists that she is in love with life. But expect a rain shower to come in the form of a certain attendee at an open invite get together at the Bull that's meant to mark Lilian and Justin's declaration of their relationship.

Finally, Anisha shows a blatant disregard for village etiquette when she tells Peggy that her pet cat is overweight.*

Village etiquette! Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/04/2017 17:29

Thanks, Gump! So Pip's downfall is definitely this week. Oh good.

IAmNotAUserNumber · 10/04/2017 17:29

The continuity announcer at 5pm said there'll be confessions at Brookfield tonight Smile

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 10/04/2017 23:30

The continuity announcer at 5pm said there'll be confessions at Brookfield tonight

Unfortunately only David blaming himself.

Megatherium · 10/04/2017 23:44

Ah, poor Pip, getting shunned by her family. Yes, that would be the family she dropped in the shit by being bloody feckless, and then lied to for weeks on end at the instigation of her pratt of a boyfriend. Surely she should be flogging her guts out to make amends, not getting morose and looking for comfort.

Stickerrocks · 11/04/2017 20:20

Or Ed owning up to how he feels about Emma working in a chicken factory.

Was it Pip or David who missed the oil leak?

redshoeblueshoe · 13/04/2017 09:30

I think Pip will blame Toby for the lying. Then because she is feeling so sorry for herself, not for the shit she has put everyone else in, she will sleep with Rex.
I hate the dopeys I may have mentioned this once before

Vango · 13/04/2017 12:58

Hi agree redshoe! Rex will provide the comfort Pip needs. Poor Rex. Is Ambridge Hall going to be invaded by the Press?

Gumpendorf · 13/04/2017 21:11

Thanks Gumpendorf

Looks like Brookfield will be paying out some compensation for the CowPlague then

Excellent Grin
