And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

I think it will go like this:

Phoebe will be sure she has failed. Jennifer will try to be the sensible voice of reason and reassure her that it's normal to think you've done worse than you actually have. Phoebe will not pay much attention and may start talking about Clearing and a year off. Kate may go along with this and Jennifer will be annoyed. Then, come Results Day, it will turn out that Phoebe has passed everything with A*s and she'll be off to Oxford in October.

Josh, meanwhile...

Vango · 27/05/2016 19:49

Oh no! Peggy's going to reveal the name to R & U. Rob making 'himself useful' could be him high tailing it to the register office. Please let me be wrong!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 27/05/2016 19:55
Gumpendorf · 27/05/2016 20:08

I'm looking forward to Peggy revealing name to R&U and taking the pictures. Rob will be incandescent. It's Myson, blah, blah.

Please let Rob NOT get his way this time. I suspect he will try and get custody or take him out of the MBU for a day visit which is why Helen panics.

Stickerrocks · 27/05/2016 20:48

Or Helen tries to register the birth in the M&B unit only to discover that Gideon has already been registered by Rob.

AugustaFinkNottle · 28/05/2016 07:54

Have they got a cricket match coming up? I can see Rob turning up and trying his own unique brand of coaching from the sidelines. Or he might be trying to make himself useful in the shop.

KingscoteStaff · 28/05/2016 10:54

I think he's going to offer to score.

AugustaFinkNottle · 28/05/2016 11:21

With any luck he'll cheat, and we'll hear the sounds of pennies dropping with the rest of the cast.

KingscoteStaff · 28/05/2016 11:26

Oh yes, Johnnie 'Rob lover' Archer - 6 runs, Tom 'Sausage Enforcer' Archer - out for a duck.

GypsyFl0ss · 28/05/2016 21:28

I'm just hoping that Feebs doesn't find solace in the arms of Terrible Toby!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/05/2016 14:07

That would be incredibly icky, given that Kate had a ONS with Toby! Shock

GypsyFl0ss · 29/05/2016 15:18

True but I could imagine that Toby would be quite happy to notch up a mother/ daughter combo.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/05/2016 15:24

He would - but I think Phoebe would have more sense.

BlackeyedSusan · 31/05/2016 11:02

arse... it is still ages to friday.

does helen only come out on a friday?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/06/2016 10:00

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/06/2016 10:03

And another massive spoiler that was apparently on the Dumdedum podcast last week - SOC plans to return to TA for the week of the trial in September so he can direct all those episodes. Hmm

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/06/2016 10:04

Correction, DumTeeDum.

BoreOfWhabylon · 01/06/2016 10:07

oh ffs! The overweening arrogance of the man!

OP posts:
Gumpendorf · 01/06/2016 10:31

There was always going to be a reason why the new editor wasn't taking up post until September. SOC wanted a clear run. He directed the post stabbing episodes, too, and they were the worst set of episodes ever.

Thanks for the spoilers, Gasp.

Gruach · 01/06/2016 10:44

Oh well - forewarned is forearmed; with a plentiful supply of alcohol or far too much going on in RL to find time to listen until it's all been dissected on the thread.

But, really?Hmm

AugustaFinkNottle · 01/06/2016 10:58

FFS was also my reaction. How is that going to work if the interim editor doesn't want it to take it in whatever stupid direct SOC envisages for the big trial drama? Or has he sorted it so that one of his stooges is appointed for the interim period?

BoreOfWhabylon · 01/06/2016 11:36

Pretty certain that's what will have happened Augusta Angry

OP posts:
enochroot · 01/06/2016 14:13

So we have three months or more of Helen teetering, Pat wailing and Rob swaggering while SOC swans in and out of the office when he feels like it?
FFS. What a mess he's made of it.

KingscoteStaff · 01/06/2016 19:39

The Sterlings are in the cast list for the week ending 17th June!

But why no cast list for week ending 10th?
