Maxy yooooooooo hooooooooo you have mail.

Bexie it really was sore. I could not bend it was agony. I would have freaked if i had really been burgled. Thats why we always stay in a hotel now as i get all freaked out in apartments. I am one of those who sit bolt up in bed and scream all the time. Really scares my H. He says i sit up and point and say what's that Arrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggg.

I did like the volcano trip but what about that bus journey.

I loved the Dunes and the laid back atmosphere in Fueuteventura. We hired a jeep and went up the hills and then La Olivia.

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 23:03

have replied basl

DH is like that in the night - though he hasn't done it for ages thankfully. Sometimes he would really frighten me - it was like he was possessed!

I didn't mind bus journey. We stopped quite a few times though. Feurteventura was lovely, didn't get to do as much as we wanted because of what happened. Wanted to see the chipmunks .

Our last holiday abroad was 5 years ago in Menorca, when we came back with a wee souvenir .

DP has bad dreams alot and has shouted out a few times

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 23:13

did Basl write that? great that thanks Bexie!

OP posts:
basl · 09/06/2010 23:13

I must admit i am not so bad but i went through a really bad spell. It leaves your heart pounding but i always managed to fall back asleep and left H sitting staring at what i thought i saw.

Now that sounded like one of my stories Bexie That made me cringe so much. Oooouch

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 23:18

That is exactly what DH used to do - he would sit up sometimes really quickly and fling his arm out as if to shush me and say "what was that" and stare intently into a corner and the he would lie back down and ou for the count and I would be wide awake panicking about what is in the corner wonder why he doesn't do it anymore?

OP posts:
basl · 09/06/2010 23:28

I know i don't do it so much either. I wondered if it was rich food too late before bed but it is strange. I have smashed a bed side lamp before with my waving arms.

I think it is since i had kids i stopped it. Who knows? It is a mystery. Well i am off to bed now and wish you all a calm peaceful sleep.

Night Night xxx

carrielou2007 · 10/06/2010 09:11

Morning from windy Somerset

5inthebed sorry I missed about your encounter with the idiot rude driver, hope you are a little less shaky, maybe they were going to quacks to sort out their issues - i.e. poor eyesight could not see you saying thankyou and rude attitude?? So much more hurtful when you pointedly did nothing wrong!

Anyone had fitflops?? A mum raivng about them yesterday at baby group, might splash out (I know, something for me!!) on a pair today. Not sure if they will cope iwith my miles and miles of walking??

maxybrown · 10/06/2010 09:26

I found them uncomfortable when I tried them on carrielou, but each to their own I guess? I don't like things between my toes either

GeekOfTheWeek · 10/06/2010 09:59

Morning,

I do the sitting up in bed, screaming thing. Dh says I scare the sh*t out of him! Picture a 16 stone bloke quivering under the duvet

Bexie, is menorca nice? We are off there is august. Going to cala n bosch.

Carrie, I fancy trying the fitflops too. Think I need miracleflops to shift the fat of my thighs though!

Sports day later for Olivia and its dull, cold and windy.

GeekOfTheWeek · 10/06/2010 10:04

basl, are you okay? I didn't know you were off work. Don't worry about your boss coming to see you, hopefully it will be to offer you support.

It would be lovely to meet up soon.

Does anyone else wonder what everyone looks like?

Shall we put a brief description of ourselves on?

carrielou2007 · 10/06/2010 10:04

Gah!! Typical, can't spend any money on me if I tried!!! She did say the rubbed a bit for the first day but then were fine

carrielou2007 · 10/06/2010 10:06

oooh Geek I'll start - shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, big boobs - sounds good until you see the blobby wobbly thing I really am

5inthebackofthenet · 10/06/2010 10:29

Morning everyone.

Bexie, that made me

I'm fine now thanks Carrie. Fel a bit for being so upset about it.

I do the whole putting-the-fear-of-god-in-your-dh-by-screaming-in-your-sleep thing as well. I'm really bad at hallucinating in my sleep, especially if I'm woken but not quite awake. I also get sleep paralasis occasionally.

Barrats had some Sketcher type fitflops in, looked nicer as they were leather. I'm going to buy myself some I think. They were about the same price as well.

GeekOfTheWeek · 10/06/2010 11:05

I'm 5'7", v v dark hair, green eyes, size 14. No hideous defects or strange body parts

Carrie, I pictured you as tall with blonde hair

lillypie · 10/06/2010 11:23

Morning all
Love the World Cup namechange 5in

There are loads of pics of me and my loved ones on my profile if anyone wants a peek

I'm having a peaceful 5 mins before I get ready for work,dd is sat at the kitchen table with pappewr glue glitter and various bit and bobs being creative. There wil be a terrible mess but it is worth it!

Hello carrielou well done on your weight loss (and all the others who are losing)good going girls x

Thinking about listing my rollerbug on the boards,I have too many prams again

Divatheshopaholic · 10/06/2010 11:28

Hi all,
Been playgroup ds hit his friend made him cry. I was mortified as he never hit child before and today hit his friend

Im also so tempted by Fitflops. Two ladies at playgroup got them in pietra(stones)and electra(sequined)and they look quite nice with casual clothes

Im 5'6" brown hair, brown eyes, size 14/16 with no waist
I thought Geek was blonde with pale skin for some reason, and size0

basl · 10/06/2010 11:56

Hiya everyone, nice to here everyone in fine spirits.
Diva i think that has happened to us all at one point and is .

Well i am 5'2" and about a size 14 bottom and size 16 top sometimes 18. So my top half is shaped like a cube. I have dark brown hair courtesy of Nice n Easy otherwise pure white grey. Honestly. I have big calves. I was once told in Las vegas when we were in an Huge Irish bar and i decided to get up and to the highland fling "Mam you have calves like apples" Well now they are like turnips.

Geek i have been off work for a little while now. Since my problems with DH came to a head i kind of had a bit of a melt down and went to the docs. I have been signed off and it is the best thing i have ever done. I have time to thing about everything and that is one stress i did not need. They are coming to offer support in how to get me back to work and i don't mind but it's all a bit i like to keep my private live separate from work and a bit alien speaking about it to them. Funny that as i really don't feel odd tell everyone of you girls and i have never met you

Divatheshopaholic · 10/06/2010 12:14

aww, Basl. We got to meet up
Got Geox today, Maxy. Thank you

carrielou2007 · 10/06/2010 12:17

Diva dd sometimes hit me in anger not hard but with pure anger/temper

Basl apples and turnips I am crying with laughter into my acket potatoe and almost snorted baked beans up my nose .

Thanks Lillypie, I look at bit different to the last time I saw you - big as a bus, tree trunk legs, edan cheese smuggling cheeks and you still smiled soothingly at me saying 'you're not that big'. Nice to hear even when heavily pregnant and hormonal even though it was a big fib

lillypie · 10/06/2010 12:32

carrie you weren't as big as you thought you were and you looked beautiful - just about to become a mama again

I have kind of stalled on the weight loss front but I am not stressed about it,I will get motivated again someday soon

DD has finished being creative, has been bathed and de-glittered and is now lying on my bed eating fairy bread and watching trhe telly box!

GeekOfTheWeek · 10/06/2010 12:59

Diva, I am a size 0 really

I am about as far from blonde as you can get! And I have tanned skin! My hair is long, layered and natuarally curly but I tend to straighten it.

basl, sorry to hear that hon. I didn't realise things were so bad with your h. You definately did the right thing taking some time off work. Sounds like you need wine at our meet up. We really need to arrange it asap.

basl · 10/06/2010 13:08

Well the timing is just weird. My day has been a bit off with Daniel crying all day and hot so something brewing. Then I watched him run from one end of dining room to livingroon and he slipped on a magazine and landed on his wrist funny. OMG he was screaming and holding his wrist. I have been consoling him with no joy but he fell asleep in my arms. Olivia then crying saying she wants to go to nursery as it has been off since Mon. Then dh arrives home from work in tears. He is having a melt down too and is now signed off work. Felt so sorry for him. It's not his way normally and i think he now realises what it feels like when your body tells you enough is enough. So he has taken Olivia to nursery and Daniel in bed and i am going to tidy up the destroyed house since my sister left with her little childmindees. Olivia and Daniel love when they come as i let them trash the livingroom building dens and dancing etc. Think DH thinks he walked into the wrong home but he never mentioned. He is off out for a long walk.

Never ever a dull moment in my house and i am so thankfull i have you girls to help me with this. I really feel talking and laughing and pushchair comparing has really been my savior. I wonder if i can get him to come on and chat.

Lillypie your house sounds bliss and love you are a creative mummy and i love the sound of fairy bread. yum

Divatheshopaholic · 10/06/2010 13:09

Geek, yes we must meet up, all of us
Lillypie i love your curly wavu hair. I have very thin and fine straight hair
Im weeding in the garden, just came in to have some drink
