Thanks Diva. I am watching a few janes now. There is one near me for £60 atm

Divatheshopaholic · 09/06/2010 13:33

Anyone had phone call from Club la Costa, i think its something to do with MN. We had phone call, they were offering 7 days in Tenerife for 99.99 plus 200 for flight by Easyjet for family of 4

5inthebed · 09/06/2010 13:38

Never heard of them Diva. Bag looks nice though!

Wondering about buying this and then selling it on for proit. No bumper bar or raincover though so doubt I'd make much.

GeekOfTheWeek · 09/06/2010 13:53

Not sure 5in. Is it worth travelling for it? Fuel/time etc.

How much would you resale for?

I'm lazy trout though so couldn't be arsed

5inthebed · 09/06/2010 14:10

It's not far from me, less than 5 miles. I quite fancy it just to try, although not sure if it will be worth it. Seller said they will try find bumper bar though, so fingers crossed.

Not sure why that postd twice

BexieID · 09/06/2010 14:21

I'd love to try a Frog as well

Getting pebbles Moonkiss on friday, so need to get shot of Graco and the faulty Loola.

basl · 09/06/2010 14:24

Diva that sounds like time share. They offer a week for that to get you there then it's hard sell.

Geek i loved Feurteventura their main town was called La Olivia and i said if i ever had a girl that would be her name. The sand dunes where breath taking and i was soo sooo happy. I will link some pics soon for you.

Now would anyone like a pimms. I am going to make a jug now for us all. Pour slirp slurp
Sitting comfortable then i will tell you another embarrassing story about me to me you laugh.

I hate lanzarote. Had the worst holiday of my life. With H and a couple we did not really get along with. First night i slipped out the bath and rushed to hospital. xrayed and i had cracked my coxics? I was given morphine and strong painkillers as nothing could be done. We returned to our dark dark apartment and i went to bed with not a stitch on because i was so hot. I started to hallucinate. I still see the picture now. I thought we were being burgled but it was my h unpacking. He gently tried to tell me it was him and i opened my eyes and screamed at the top of my voice. I jumped out of bed and caught my feet in the covers and went flying across the room and jumped up unlocked the door and ran like the clappers. My Dh and i will call him Dh then ran after me assuring me it was ok. He was carrying a beach towel as i was naked. So next day off we go back to the hospital as i had two black eyes and two knees cracked open from the fall.

The whole holiday was disastrous because i could hardly walk and could not sit. I had to let everyone know around the pool about my dream as sure they thought my h beat me up. We made lots of friends that day and everyone helped me into the pool for the first time the whole holiday. It was bliss but i couldn't swim and just floated my head about the water. Well that night i was in agony with sore ears so off to the hospital again and they were singing Maria i once knew a girl called maria. [oops name away] I had an ear infection. Bloody hell. So i don't like Lazarote and that couple are nolonger together .

Hope that gave a little light entertainment. Everyone that is feeling down today please accept a huge big hug from me as you have always been so lovely to me. xxxxxxxxxxx

5inthebed · 09/06/2010 14:30

Basl you do make me giggle. Just imagining this screamin naked woman being chased by a man with a towel

Well micralite l washed, just need it to dry. Might stick heating on as it is freezing!

GeekOfTheWeek · 09/06/2010 14:36

@ basl

Your holiday in Lanzarote far beats mine!

It was too windy for me. We went in the august and it was really cloudy and windy and I hated it. I did do 'boom shake the room' on karaoke there, which dh has on film

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 15:37

oh god I am laughing with tears running down my face, that was hilarious Basl.

lol Basl, Never been lanzorate, tenerife, even blackpool
off to parent evening very soon.

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/06/2010 18:28

rofl and all the rest. Basl you must never leave the pushchair shed because I haven't laughed so much for ages. Thank you.
Are you bidding 5in? I see it's down to about 3 mins

5inthebed · 09/06/2010 18:40

No never bothered. The seller was quite rude so I couldn't be bothered. Went for higher than I expected as well.

carrielou2007 · 09/06/2010 19:48

basl that was so funny I literally shrieked out laughing and made ds (who was having booby milk) jump not that laughing at someone else's pain is funny I love Lanzarote and Feut though!!!

Given up with ds already, been tramping up and down the stairs to him since 7pm, he's back down here now so won't be able to get back on until about 10pm when he finally gives in and goes to sleep!!

basl · 09/06/2010 20:04

Awww i am glad you liked my story. I know it is a funny one but i still am sore from that fall. I have bags of stories like that. Thinks seem to happen to me all the time and even at work when we have training and it's chat time. If i am on a course with people they always say. "Go on tell them the one about you cutting that ladies Ear lobe off when you were training to be a hairdresser " Funny i don't seem to mind being laughed at when i can see the funny side too.

We have just returned from a long drive where we ended up in the Famous fish n chip shop in the fishing Village Anstruther. It was amazing but i have blown the diet again The kids love it at the harbour and it was a stunning evening. It would appear Olivia has adopted her dads fear of heights and long drops. She would not go anywhere near the edge to look down at the water.

Oh 5in what have you bought????

Flyme and decisions about three wheeler. I would second a Dakhar i loved that but teency bit too wide.

5inthebackofthenet · 09/06/2010 20:14

I've not bought anything. Was thinking of buyin a bug frog near me, but didn't have bumper bar or raincover, and went for much more than I would have paid. Plus seller was rude when I asked a few questions.

Anyone watching Corrie?

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 20:15

oh sounds like my world carrielou 2 years ago In fact he always stayed with us in the end and in our bed - and my sister tut tutting how he would be a real pain because of it. As it was, we moved house, he got given his own room never had a cot - straight into a bed and happy as you like! Sleeps through no worries - we did have him in with us over winter because his room is freezing and he just kept waking up with hands that could turn water to ice

Oh i see take it you just wanting to try it out. I would like to try out lots but can't see Daniel wanting to sit in a pushchair for much longer.

Maxy how you feeling now ? I really did want to pack a bag and come visit you today. Rubbish when we feel like that eh.

Oh and 5in hope you have recovered from the road rage. I would be in a state. I remember accidentally clipping someone on the back of their heel with the elite and they made a real show about it and i saw them in the next shop and they were all staring and talking about me. My lip was quivering and tears were starting until i gave myself a talking to.

5inthebackofthenet · 09/06/2010 20:55

I'm fine now thanks Basl

I know what you mean, DS3 prefers walking to praming it, but not that easy when DS2 runs everywhere. Can't be two places at once.

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 20:57

I am ok thank you Basl.....just every now and then things pile on. Silly of me really.

You would have cheered me up if you'd been stood on the doorstep as it was your story cheered me up so much you wouldn't believe - you really should write a book!

Aww, poor basil! I hurt my tailbone 4 weeks ago and it still hurts!

Mine and DPs first holiday together was Feurteventura and our apartment was broken into and the barstewards stole both my SLR cameras . So we got the going to the police station experience. We had a trip to Lanzarote and visited the volcano, which was really good.

DP also had food poisoning on the last night We had a great holiday otherwise and went to a Star Trek convention in Blackpool when we got back .

A friend of mine moved to Lanzarote, but only stayed there a week in the end!

basl · 09/06/2010 21:54

I do like to tell a yarn i must admit. I think it's the hairdresser in me.

5in Daniel was running so fast tonight at the harbour and he so wants to be free but it has us on edge because he is so fast. He jumps and skips along and looks so happy when he is running. Forrest gump style. I kept thinking all day after reading how fed up everyone was if i could just book a flight and turn up and we could all meet up but did not pluck up the courage to ask H. I will get this arranged i promise. I would love to meet everyone.

I have my boss coming to give me a home visit as this is now 2weeks i have been off sick. Dreading it because although i am coping a bit better i know i will end up in tears. It's rather personal having to spill the beans to work people. Never mind supose they have to do their job.
