Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 07:49

Morning all!

Happy Bday Tom for yesterday i find 4 such a lovely age just before they start school! Bexie when does Tom go to school..Sept 2011? same as luka.

Well tom finally made it back at 11.30pm! he looked bloody awful. he's got half an hour before i need to wake him up and go to football with his dad.

Happy Bday to DD Diva!! It's all bday's this week as its My Tom's 11th on Thursday

As for potty training its so much easier if they want to do it. Luka has been watching and following and copying Tate for a whole year don't forget so im sure that helped. I just said one morning nappy or pants and he said pants! was on the Good Friday i think and never looked back.

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 08:33

Morning all!

happy Birthday to birthday peeps

Diva, we could never afford a newish caravan, so it will always require some sort of working on whatever we get, small little leaks, etc etc and I have had enough of spending hours sitting around waiting for DH to finish on whatever vehicle we happen to have. I was dead set against a tent, but we've been really careful in looking at them. Plus we can go anywhere without worrying wether we will fit down little tiny lanes in cornwall/places similar! We are getting the footprint and carpet tent too, the tent has loads more room than the van. We will see anyway. Do let me know what you've gt to get rid of though please

Besides, my Dad was a scout leader - I should be a dab hand at camping after all the trips I have done in my lifetime

Right, off to get dressed, Mum coming oer today and sun is shining. Washing machine on, cooker scrubbed and DS still in bed, lovely

5in can you email me your addy please?!

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 08:34

Nicola will PP you now btw, thank you

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 08:59

Happy Birthday Tom!!

Dexter is nearly 4 now, he starts school full time September. Everyone keeps telling me, because it will jsut be Aurora at home, to have another baby errr.... no thanks!!

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 09:15

Thanks for payment maxy!

dis Tate starts school in September too, and luka will increase his nursery to every afternoon...hopefully time for another for me!!

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 09:21

Awwwwww, def not for me though

I'm thinking of asking at playgroup if Dex can do a few more afternoons, to get him used to a full day, its such a big leap to full time school and they are so litle still

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 09:27

when is dexter's bday? Luka will be like that next year as he's four in the July then straight to school in September. Whereas Tate will be just 4m off his fifth bday when he starts so not so bad.

They get extra funding to 15hrs from September at nursery. The boys nursery doesn't do full day sessions tho but they have started lunch club so luka will continue that once a week so i'll have one afternoon free from 11.45 to 3.15pm when i go to school be strange doing school run again as i don't have to take Tom anymore.

Poor tom is so shattered he's gone off with his dad who's a grumpy bugger at the best of times. looked very sheepish bless him hope he's ok. must take pics of boys in a min i got smiley face NAS sugar top for tate off ebay but it doesn't fit so luka wearing it!! And tate has his happy bunny one on!

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 09:31

Aww bless Tom. I was thinking about Luka yesterday and Him starting school, can't believe he goes next year! James birthday Sept so he will be one of the oldest when he goes.

I know what you mean Dis, james not gone anywhere yet so dreading it a little. he starts school nursery in September 5 afternoons a week, from never having been anywhere.

Yes, piccies please I am going to put james in linen top today, been dying to get it on him

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 09:32

No he starts in january actually duh thicko I am.

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 09:35

nursery or school in jan?
oooh all that time to yourself i can't wait!!

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 09:38

The school(that he will be going to) nursery!

I know, hope he's at least talking, going to have a nappy wearing non talker

He will do afternoons then I can have mornings from the following September instead which will be better.

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 09:42

don't worry luka didn't talk either when he started remember...look at him now! he's a real chatterbox!

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 09:45

I know, lets hope so. He has his hearing test on Thursday nad next week the moth check up at dental hospital - at 9.15 in manchester city centre, nightmare! in more ways than one!! lol

maxybrown · 13/04/2010 09:46

that would be MOUTH check up not moth

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 09:46

Hes only 4 in June! Ten starts scool Sept

Its going to be so odd just having Rorie here all day, she will love it though.

Anyone know how you can tell thick wings from thin on bee?!

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 09:47

Maxi is his hearing test at the new manchester kids hospital? Addison had one done a few months ago, he has glue ear, are waiting to be called in for grommets op

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 10:01

Dis Tate had gromets last year both ears and luka had one side down (had infection in right side when we went in for op so couldn't put it in) Anyway it has been marvellous for them instead of ear infections every few weeks only had one each no in more than 6m. Think probably helped with luka's speech too.

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 10:19

Sound brill Nic, its scary them having an op though. He does need it done, the consultantant said it was advanced made me quite angry as we had been taking him to the GP a year before and noone had diagnosed glue ear

nicolamumof3 · 13/04/2010 10:36

yes i know dis well tate has suffered recurrent ear infections since birth. i just lost it once and kept saying 'this can't be normal?' said i wanted something done about it and we got referred to ENT. Luka's was actually worse than Tates.

Horrible seeing them go under and waiting to be called into recovery. But it does improve their life so much. Def worth it imo.

5inthebed · 13/04/2010 10:52

Morning ladies. Its horrible and wet here today.Hope it clears up as we're meant to be going to a farm tomorrow.

I'm going to have a clear out later and see what I can sell to help boost my money for a new pram . In no hurry to get one, but want a new one, as I'm sick of second hand ones.

Disenchanted3 · 13/04/2010 11:03

Yes it will help him in the long run I know, but do not like hospitals! I'm there myself Thursday for a sigmoidoscopy (camarea up the bottom) I'm so so so nervous!

Ooh a brand new one 5in? Nice!

Nothing nicer than a box with a BN buggy in and taking the plastic bits off

Am washing all my buggy covers at the moment, keep pushing the bee around the living room, can't believe how light it is. Am never letting go, lol
