Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

Hope I like it, I do love 3 wheelers and ds is 15lb and too long for his 3-6 sleepsuits already. Dd was 23 weeks before she was that weight so thinking will need good sturdy buggy for a while!!

Next have got some in Bexie, nice. They are in 2 packs and have working drawstring too

Sal I will email you

Morning all by the way. Rained here over night too, garden needed it though.

I'd like to try a Mountain Buggy too carrielou - but mainly because everyone raves about them so I would like to see why

15lb carrie? You still feeding him yourself? Erin isn't 12lb yet, lol. Tom was at least 4lb heavier than she is at same age.

Oo Next. He has some Next ones in 2-3 that may well still fit, but he won't let me try them on, lol. Asda had nothing, and i've been in 2.

The Next ones are nice Bexie, I ordered them for James but didn't keep them in the end

Yep, though he is a very hungry boy and on advice and much tears from myself, he does have 4oz poison formula from this week when my milk is low in the evening, I split feed him one boob before his bath formula after. Dd hs never had a bottle of formula in her life but HV telling me off that he is not putting on enough weight so thought would try it

next jersey shorts are lovely bexie and good price too i'd go for them. otherwise JL has some really boden like for good price too.

Carrielou i wouldn't worry too much about feeding. Luka was only BF one day in hospital and look at him!

We are off to brighton now....in the rain! Lunch at jamie olivers then shopping i hope!

carrie, i'm surprised I didn't get told off by my HV as Erin was on 25th percentile and dropped down to 9th. Tom did have the odd bottle of formula after 6 months when I was at work/we were out. I wasn't that great expressing. Need to try Erin.

maxy, they look nice, but not sure about green ones as DP will complain they are Celtic colours, and hes not into football at all.

Ds has been on 75th for heigh and weight and twice he has dropped back to just over 50th. His dad and I are both tall but he is whippet slim, as are all 4 of his other children. Dd is tall but has my bodyshape of long legs and chunky bum so maybe that's just his shape. I just want him well fed but it is hard not so much the formula but the act that my body is letting me down

Right, off for a walk in the sunshine to Aldi for the fruit run!!

Not putting on enough weight??? Sheesh. They do make you panic don't they some pf them. James refused formula full stop anyway - got it in preperation when I was ging out for an evening as I found it really hard to express, but he would not have it. Your DS looked like a happy bouncing lad to me carrie on that picture!!

James was on 2nd percentile til he was 6 months where he then went to 9th. He reached 25th when he was about 10 months!! I would ignore it tbh, esp if he does gain weight reguarly. You wouldn't know James spent most of his time low down on scale to look at him.

Report
maxybrown · 25/04/2010 10:08

Oh and then he dropped again to 9th and almost back to 2nd - he never looked any different mind you!! was growing and running by then I would have thought.

Hi all, Back from weekend hols. Im not soo happy. Yesterday we realised left brake on Mac quest is still half on. It wont move any directions.
What do i do now? Im soo annyoed, its only used once before for about 2 hours. How could it get broken?
Dh was not impressed, he said all those years you had prams non of them that problem Anyway i took that as compliment
Do i call Maclaren or Additions?

Report
maxybrown · 25/04/2010 16:14

Try additions first Diva - bet they will say to contact Maclaren, but see what they say. How annoying!

Carrie - this is what she bought on ebay and selling them for £6.50 each on here plus post! But the thing is she said she found them stashed away now she is moving house, that they belonged to her nephew

Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 16:38

I just called Additions, and they asked me pack it for collection tomorrow.
The only thing i dont like is, they will refund me if the brakes are repairable

I dont want refund i want buggy.

Thats just rude Maxy, her not you. It annoys me when they try to sell for major profit on these boards. Ebay yes, fair enough, but not on here.

I was out last night on a hen night. Dressed in pyjamams, felt quite silly until I had a few drinks. Felt a bit delicate this morning, but fine since I had a huge roast pork dinner. Yum!

There is an old style XT near me on Ebay that might go cheap, am watching it anyway to see.

Diva, additions took back my XLR after about 4 months because of broken zip, full refund onto account.

Report
Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 17:04

Dis, i dont want refund, as it cost me 54 pounds anyway. I rather get it fixed, so i dont need 100pounds for new Mac, iyswim.
Maxy, i did not realise she buys off ebay and sells for profit. How did you know?

A couple people had contactme about her - especially when she was desperate to buy some of my Boden stuff that everyoe was after! She also buys on here to try and sell on ebay too. I didn't know for sure until I saw a photo of something on here that was exact same photo as something she was selling on ebay.

Hope you get pushchair sorted - how annoying. can't they just send you another one?
