Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

carrielou2007 · 24/04/2010 12:54

Maxy I thought of you, on another thread someone linked to ebay silver cross fizz in green and blue on offer new 55quid?? Not as good as volo but nice (I had one in humbug but took it back to JL) I'm very temped to get one for ds

Bought a lovely changing bag from ebay, handmade but in a wipeclean material with green pears on it. It's really lovely and the seller even included a clip for my keys that I asked for!!

Right, we are off to the beach again

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 17:00

ooh how nice to be thought of so often

I have never heard of those......off to investigate!

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 20:07

i didn't like the SX fizz as much as volo not as nice to push pretty to look at..really liked the humbug but not a patch on maclaren..

we've had a lovely day. Went to farm..then tea at beefeater. all home and boys tucked up i had hot shower as was suddenly cold maybe too much sun! Quiet on here today..

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 20:12

It hasn't got very good reviews actually. I must admit, I only really have ever liked Maclaren for strollers.

We did shopping (yawn) then moved a little shed in our garden and painted it and stuff.
and just played in garden, was nice.

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 20:17

so lovely to have this sunshine isn't it. The only other stroller i've liked was the m&p ziko v.nice. But you go a long way to beat a volo for a v.lightweight stroller. Used nipper today at farm was lovely..forgot how nice it was to push.

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 20:21

Isn't it! Loving it.

Oh gosh, just watching Britains got talent and adverts on - We buy any Car advert - James loves it, but has recently taken to dancing to it, but you are NOT allowed to join in, he does his absolute utmost to copy the dancing exactly - even the final pose at the end - I realise you have to be here, bit it is hilarious, he is so so serious about it!

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 20:28

oh bless him..that sounds like luka..he says no dancing no sing mummy..only he can do it! v.cute James

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 20:33

ah they are so funny! I love this age, so very cute. He hasn't danced for ages and now can't stop him again!

I'm looking at XLR's again - sigh. STOP IT!!!! There was a black champagne only went for £56 today and she said she'd pack it - but there were a couple of negs (older ones) about condition and it was only a stock photo so put me off. Cheap but not cheap enough to risk losing money on.

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 20:34

you wouldnt' have lost on that tho maxy..i wouldn't have another xlr.

oooh i love this JL advert!

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 20:35

Have you seen the new John Lewis advert - think it's really goodorry, I'm having an advert night apparently

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 20:37

which one shall i order...

this

or this?

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 20:39

The stone one is nice quality have seen it in the flesh - I ummed over it but I'm not too keen on ribbed cardis fussy so and so - but it did feel nice.

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 21:09

i think i preferred that one too!

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 21:12

It is very nice actually - it is what I nearly got him the day he was sick on the bus but got the coat instead. You have me thinking about that one now! Neutral so go with most things too.

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 21:19

yep thats what i was looking for. Tate has a lovely duffle style navy one in cotton and so does luka (18-24m but massive!) but his is a teal blue/brown stripe so doesn't go with everything.

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 21:27

Nice. All mine are over the head ones. Been very hard to find any this year.

nicolamumof3 · 24/04/2010 21:31

glad im not the only nutter searching for the impossible. am off to brighton tomorrow might be able to find toby tiger shop this time! yum!!

maxybrown · 24/04/2010 21:45

ooh jealous sniff.

You should know by now I am never far behind you in the nutter department

sal1309 · 25/04/2010 08:33

good morning all.

well im now back in oxford after a lovely couple of weeks up at my mums but glad to be back.

Have any of you lovely ladies got basl's addy? as i would like to send her a little thankyou/cheerup for the clothes she sent me?

well lots to do today, cleaning, washing, go and pick my dogs up. Oh and try and dry the seats out in the car as we left dh's surfboard on the roof of the car and its rained which means where the straps are through the car we will have wet seats lol

hope everyone is ok.

carrielou2007 · 25/04/2010 09:15

Morning

All this boys clothes talk is very helpful to such a pink houseold!!

How's your dd2 sal? I have basl's email addy but not her address (will double check)

I've just won a mountainbuggy, black, urban with shopping basket and raincover - local pickup 25 miles from me. Hope I like it, just want to stash it away in the garage for winter, going on the beach so hope they are as good as everyone says they are!!

BexieID · 25/04/2010 09:25

Mountain Buggies are great. Thats why i'm keeping mine to use next year when Erin is bigger.

All the clothes talk has reminded me I need to do pix of Toms 0-1 year clothes, inc some nice summery bits. The flash won't work on my camera, so need a nice day to do then outside! Then I can send it in to be fixed.

sal1309 · 25/04/2010 09:26

lol carrie i know the feeling on a pink household lol I must admit ive not seen anything fantastic clothing wise for the dd's

dd2 is great ta. how are your 2 doing?

nice one on the mb i must admit i have borrowed my friends mb on occasions and its lovely to push

BexieID · 25/04/2010 09:27

Actually, i'm after jersey shorts in 3-4 if anyone has seen them in the shops?
