Have you done the cake Nicola? We've just put one in the oven (well I used 2 pears, an apple and 2 plums!!) and we made mince pies earlier. I'm not keen on mince pies so I make them without 'lids' and butter and suger insted and have already eaten two . Dd is licking the bowl with it on her head watchng Barbie Mariposa.

2 eggs, 4oz butter, 6oz caster sugar, 6 or 8 oz flour depending on how mushy the pears are. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs, add mushy fruit, fold in flour. Loaf tin greased for 40-45 mins at 180 - enjoy!!

Shall I order a mac quest then in apples for 99 pounds ????

I've just ordered one they take paypal so I don't feel as if I've paid for it as I have the money from selling ebay stuff in htere. I'll put it away for splodge and at that price even if I change my mind and sell it on ebay I'm sure I could get my money back !!

just back in took boys to soft play in an effort to where them out...it worked!! phew. Went to waitrose that was relatively calm now home few last bits to wrap when the boys in bed tonight then a glass of champers for me!! i love xmas eve...

We hd few last bits to get in Morrisons (not keen on Morrison's but it's only a mile away so an easy walk!) pretty quiet. Then got dd some new pj's in sale in Boots and TONS of lovely baby clothes in Matalan sale. Really gorgous jumpers for 4 pounds!! It was madness in there!!

Quest is here, not opened it yet, will check it then stash it away.

Getting a bit excited here and I'm having a glass of rose cava later (yum yum yum!!)

Evening everyone. Getting excited now as DS seems really excited!!! Didn't think he'd be that much more aware but he is, so that's nice.

Spent day at my sisters as she is 40 today so had my champers there!!

Now we have all of DS's presents to wrap and each others so best get a move on really. Watched The Snowman with James which was nice, feeling very relaxed. Happy Christmas everyone, hope you all have a good one! Cheers!

hope you all have a lovely lovely day tomorrow i am all done now woohoo, waiting for terry to get off the phone and crack open the bubbly the tree is jam packed love it looking like that!!

Dd was so excited to go to bed so she could go to sleep so that father christmas would come she was in bed by 7.15 (unheard of for her) and asleep 5 mins later!!

I had my glass of cava and had to have a little nap then wrapped all dd's pressies and her dad had to have the rest of the bottle then a brandy so he is now snoring on the sofa.

Merry Christmas everyone,I have had a lovely evening.After work I went to open pressies with my sons and granddaughter as I won't see them tomorrow.

DD had a lovely bath with sparkles and put on new pj's.Then we sprinkled reindeer food onto snow and off she went to bed

DP popped out to see some friends and I have wrapped all the presents and had some yummy merlot and a mince pie.
