5inthesleighbed From wheelchair services. Apparently it's a brand new one and you loan it for free for as long as you need (as long as there's no significant damamge) but you do have to buy the accessories for it and they aren't cheap. Am hoping I can get a custom made footmuff cheaper and maybe get some of the other stuff from ebay or see if anyone on here has anything.

I think he is between MFA and LFA, but not core autism. HE was 2.6 when he was DX, very young! He has a mac major from wheelchair services, was a godsend when I was pg with ds3

I used to get confused thinking HFA (which is probably what DS will be diagnosed as) meant they had really severe autism and LFA was that they were quite close to NT, but recently realised it was the other way around after speaking to the CP. No wonder I used to get confused reading threads on here

Have packed the kids off to bed and dp is out for the night. Luka is still poorly and not going to be sending him to nursery tomorrow - not sure if I can stay at home - might have to take a day's unpaid leave.
Maxy -did you see my msg re hat - it actually diverted a tantrum as the postie arrived just as we were venturing out and Luka was having a woobly because I wouldn't give him my keys.
