Quiet. I am still tempted to get a three wheeler but now wonder if it would just get into the way when the house is on the market.
Glad you have felt better today Nicola.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 20:38

StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 20:52

Loving Crimbo men!

Got to wait in all day tomorrow for the Thomas Table for his birthday and DS's ranger wagon for Xmas to be delivered.... bet they won't come til 6! Oh the horrible pain of having birthday and Xmas within 2 weeks of each other

Where's Maxy I need to hear about Cheadle to pick me up!?

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:00

oh i know SK its Tate bday on 28th. i just buy a load of stuff then kind of half it for xmas and bday. He's having his first ever party this year too, so he's very excted.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:07

oooh who's watchng amanda holden on itv1?

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/12/2009 21:09

Me!

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/12/2009 21:12

Oh dear I'm crying. I would be in tears at every birth.

StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 21:15

Nicola I'm finding it really distressing how people keep dismissing his birthday because 'he'll have loads at Xmas' so won't need anything else What the Hell! Would you say that to someone born in June? no! I'm angry on his behalf that people think he should make do with a rubbish birthday as he happens to be born in January

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:23

oh don't be SK, i couldn't give a damn tbh. make a major fuss of his bday as i do wth all my families bdays so don't worry about others.

yes dunoon, tears here now, makes you v.broody!!

maxybrown · 14/12/2009 21:23

My sister is christmas eve, DH is 22nd.....sigh. To me, the 7th Jan is positively June...you should be like us Sk and hardly get anything anyway.....regardless of time of year

OP posts:
maxybrown · 14/12/2009 21:25

Oh gosh........see, I don't feel broody at all, i thnk oh my god i couldn't risk another

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 14/12/2009 21:31

Hmm not sure about broody exactly.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:31

really? i would love to give birth again! not sure about the parenting that follows tho lol!!

yes agree jan is much better than dec. i thought tate would be late you see and he was due NYE and there he was the 28th, born in the snow....brrrrr it was cold!

5inthesleighbed · 14/12/2009 21:33

Sk, my family were like that with DS3's birthday being at the end of November. My mam wanted to buy him one present for both occasions, but not pay any difference .

I'm watching the Amanda thing.

StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 21:33

I just feel like people won't make a special fuss of him like he deserves. Everyone else gets a special day and I do want him to feel that too. I don't mind about the presents, but I do mind that people don't seem to want to make any effort to come to a little party or do anything really!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:44

well SK don't let it upset you, as long as you all have a nice day together thats all that matters. as i said Tate is having first proper party this year. We sent out 17 invites for it and only had 7 rsvps so far. As i thought!! why don't people respond? not hard is it. Anyway i was worried no one would come as it s 3 days after xmas, so 7 yes's im pleased with.

My mum spoils all her grandsons the same so tate doesn't miss out. Terry's parents strange with all bday's and my dad is good so it evens out!

We are very close unit as a family and very much do our 'own thing' by ourselves anyway.

maxybrown · 14/12/2009 21:46

Must be an individual thing, my sis has never had that issue. My ex was 7th january and it always seemed AGES after Christmas!

Nicola, i don't mind giving birth, it is the worrying everything will be ok. I am so laid back and usually not worried about anything and never wanted children, but cannot imagine what some of these women go through whose babies die DH came in and said oh god I can't watch that it's too sad. See when everything is in persepective like that a little date doesn't matter eh? It's been turned off now as DS got up, bad dreams and is now in our bed legs in the back time I fear!

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 21:53

Well we're going to try really hard to make it nice but DH will be working away from home that day so I would have liked it if people were a bit more willing to come round and celebrate but they are all complaining that they will be tired after Christmas!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:54

oh now maxy, hope he goes back off ok..

omg worse nightmare on this prog, baby not breathing...

thats what tate was like he was resucitated.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 14/12/2009 21:55

oh my i defy anyone not to be moved by that. how lovely when he cried.

StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 21:56

OMG I'd scream if my baby wasn't breathing!

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/12/2009 21:56

OMG that was scary.

StrictlyKatty · 14/12/2009 21:56

Does make me want another baby
