janxmas · 12/12/2009 21:01

Educate a dim southerner here 5in - why isn't Joe a Geordie?

5inthesleighbed · 12/12/2009 21:16

Because he is from South Shields, which is the other side of the Tyne river, and anyone from that side of the river isn't known as a Geordie. But thats only us pure Geordies that thin that

janxmas · 12/12/2009 21:30

Ah - we have north/south thing in London. I am in North London which is obviously a much better place to be than sarf London

carrielou2007 · 12/12/2009 21:47

janxmas · 12/12/2009 21:58

I'm a bit sad that Stacey went home - Joe is just too dull for my liking.

janxmas · 12/12/2009 22:01

Morning all, hows everyone today?

DH left for work already, so what shall i do today? looks cold out, going to get much colder next week, about time!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 13/12/2009 10:23

still asleep then? or maybe you all have lives!!

ebay seller has told me to go ahead and organise courier on bargain volo, wohoo!!

carrielou2007 · 13/12/2009 10:52

Morning

That is super cheap Nicola, my volo sold for 45 plus courier, you can't beat another mac

Really cold here, left the buggy in the car yesterday (for me to lean on not for dd to go in) popped out to get it and brrrrrrrr!!

We're going for a walk in a bit, dd's half sister is still asleep upstairs, her dad has just surfaced but dd and I have had a lovely quiet morning

nicolamumof3wisemen · 13/12/2009 10:54

it is set to get much colder too!!

yep i bought to sell on next year, wasn't so keen on my volo but it will save the xlr in the car i suppose, and may encourage me to catch bus!! Just booked courier so fingers crossed it will be here tuesday.

janxmas · 13/12/2009 11:07

Morning - had a horrendous night with Luka - he was up for 3 hours with his teeth...dp came in at 12 and it all kicked off then..he finally came into bed with me and fell asleep (luka not dp - he was on the sofa)..he has never really suffered with his teeth before - but we have had two really bad nights in a row.

Packed dp off with his brother and kids to get tree while I do some housework - just making some soup for lunch and then dd has a party this afternoon.

nappyaddict · 13/12/2009 15:11

janx have you tried giving him a combination of medised and either nurofen or calprofen? That used to do wonders when DS was teething.

nicola I know what you mean about weekends? We normally go for walks in the hills or the woods or go to the park and feed the ducks or sometimes out on the bikes.

I wonder if Joe minds being called a Geordie then if he isn't one?
