Dunoon - I have my sheepskin liner on, but waiting for stayput blanket....not bonkers at all

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/12/2009 18:26

Is it a liner or a rug?
Cos I have ordered an actual sheepskin and plan to cut slots for the harness. I just thought it would be nice sort of wrapping around the edges of the pushchair.

janxmas · 04/12/2009 18:27

Its a liner - oh that's an idea re rug - but I sold my rug a while ago

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/12/2009 18:30

Years ago when DD1 was a baby and before I had knowledge of nice thick warm footmuffs [maybe they weren't made then] I got a sheepskin in a charity shop, washed it and did the same. Over the years it got shredded until it became a little mat for the cats. So it should work.

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 19:34

I know Tesco taking over the world and they don't give a hoot anyway! gah.

OOh I hope Luka was warm enough, we are freezing tonight. James has been child from Hell, red eyes from being so tired screaming etc, you get the drift. Now fast asleep thank goodness, I am shattered! Got him all day tomorrow on my own too, am thinking of going into town but not sure if that will be more stressful, but I reckon he needs to get out, cabin fever!! I need chocolate

nicolamumof3wisemen · 04/12/2009 20:45

oooh you'll be brave maxy shopping on a saturday.

Well luka was cold, he asked for blanket on bless him, but his feet were frozen when we got back for bath. i treated them to chocolate cake and simpsons! Now watching celebrity with Tom.

I want to get luka some sheepskin boots they'll keep his feet toasty but £££

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 20:53

Well I won't technically be shopping, got no money lol. Just looking - fed up of being stuck in the house with a rabid 2 year old!!!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 04/12/2009 21:04

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 21:07

janxmas · 04/12/2009 21:10

Oh I have to make a cake! Will have to buy something for my sister as she does not eat wheat
Come to London tomorrow maxy...you could do the transport museum with James, wander round covent garden and I will meet you for lunch!

nappyaddict · 04/12/2009 21:14

janx and TLES aren't the zikos quite narrow? Wouldn't have thought they were that great for 2-4 year olds?

Dunoon Was it you looking for an all in one for DD1? Did you want one with or without feet? And did you want cotton or fleece?

janxmas · 04/12/2009 21:15

No idea - was having a mad moment - am over it now

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/12/2009 21:17

Hi nappy. I wouldn't mind on any of those points. DD would prefer with feet in fleece.

Can anyone else think on this thread. My mind has gone blank. She is after a real lying back rear facer, not a bucket seat type.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 04/12/2009 21:17

oh maxy, has he been poorly? (sorry have i totally missed something?!) have i totally missed this. its tricky at w/ends as everywhere so busy, i try to stay in at w/ends or away from busy places as its hard work with all three on my own.

nappyaddict · 04/12/2009 21:20

basl you run home from work as well as in the morning

Katty If you have a Toys R Us one the wooden ones there are £9.99

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/12/2009 21:21

Maxy if it was me I would give DC some calpol, go out to town, eat in a cafe or MacDonalds, get a dvd for them to watch later, some wine and chocolate for me and head home. Hopefully DC would fall asleep in pushchair and then at home watch dvd.

StrictlyKatty · 04/12/2009 21:23

Wooden what nappy ? so not with it tonight, v tired!

FlyMeToDunoon · 04/12/2009 21:26

Is Nappyaddict reading the old posts?

StrictlyKatty · 04/12/2009 21:28

I'm trying to think what I wanted I could get from toysrus and was wooden

nappyaddict · 04/12/2009 21:29

Katty advent calendars.

Dunoon some ideas on this thread

StrictlyKatty · 04/12/2009 21:32

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Excellent, I do want one really badly

God my brain is addled, someone said today I looked very tired... that's never a good thing!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 04/12/2009 21:35

dunoon i like your thinking, sounds typical of my saturdays!!

Tomorrow, Tom has TKD grading then we have school xmas fete on in afternoon, which will be hot, crowded and yuck. luka will be screaming to get out of pushchair but then i won't be able to control them both and find tom at the end. oh the joys eh?!

nappyaddict · 04/12/2009 21:44

I love this snow suit and this sleeping bag/jacket thing but Vertbaudet come up small so I don't think size 3 will fit DS
