Giant swings, or maybe framework for some kind of awning/shelter coming off the main building. Huge and ugly though!

I think they are sun canopies. I’m more concerned at that horrific kitchen than what’s in the garden.

You have megalophobia. I know someone who does as well and it's quite understandable to me. Some structures really are unnerving.

I've looked at the pictures for several minutes and I still can't figure out what they are. They're bloody enormous for that size garden, whatever they are.

it wouldn't matter to me because I couldn't live with that kitchen, so unless it was cheap enough to do a full kitchen refit, I wouldn't be viewing anyway.

Ring the agent, then come & tell us!

I like the way the shape of the outdoor structures is copied inside by the coat rack. Which they had to hang a single coat on or people would say “what’s that weird metal pole thing?”

It's a high risk strategy modernising in such a unique way and then trying to get top whack for somewhere.

I've been googling trying to figure out exactly what those things are and I can't find anything. If the are some sort of canopy, where would the canopy attach to? They aren't awnings because the aren't attached to the house. It's making me rather crazy. I've never seen anything like them.
