anyone else had trouble with GU?

Hmmm, checked my online banking and although the money has come off my available balance its not showing up on my transactions yet as taken and def not refunded.

OK, just rang GU. bearing in mind Ive place the discount code with about 5 of the cats now I thought I was bound for trouble, espesh as there was no confirmation from GU.

Rang them and first off to say, they are linked directly with KAYs, so I thought aha! I been caught out.

anyway, that was not the case. Just seems they have a back log. so Ive got a Peppa Pig balance bike which was already reduced (although still ridiculously overpriced compared to other companies) for £20 devliverd.

Based on this, I wouldnt worry ladies. Im not anyway.

just looked at my order from very- shows a total order of 29.95- taken from my debit card, £25 refund back onto debit card and order is due today- also my marshall ward drum kit is due today [yey] !

I received my order this morning and the £25 pound has been refunded back to my account so very happy

The invoice is showing the full amounts and no discount mentioned on the statement.

Disenchanted- that sounds odd....I've got my invoices from last time and they are basically a copy of the transaction history page, so show all the ins and outs.
I'd get your Mum to ring them up- or check with her bank.

when i used to £30 off £60 code there was no mention of discount on my paperwork dis only online, but the refunds came through fine.
I'm sure it'll be ok

It never shows on the delivery note bit go onto transaction history and its on there.

paddle- these codes are always cropping up, last year there was another 50% off one around the first week of December.....hang on in there, there'll be one again before Christmas, I'm sure.

AFAIK, yes, expired on all of them. I tried Very and Additions, then googled the code and it shows on the code sites as expired.

Littlewoods one works earlier for me but i still had it all in my basket from yesterday.
Anyone know of any other codes? Any i have tried for very or great universal won't work. I knew this would happen.

Managed to get a £10 off code to work on great universal plus 3 for 2 so got £12 item free. Better than nothing.

Everything seems to have gone through now Let's just hope that they don't decide to want the full amount six months down the line!

My discounts have never shown on the invoices before so don't panic about that - they take full amount & then refund you. Check your bank statement, although it can sometimes take a couple of days.

Phoned the company and the worker said the code is on a min spend of £50.
Is this right?

The invoice you get with your goods always shows the full price. They take full price first & then refund you the discount. Keep an eye on your bank statement.
