Is anyone else dying to find out which school they have been allocated?

This is for my PFB which makes it extra difficult for me :(

I can't talk about it in real life as it starts off as a nice casual conversation ending with some delusions of grandeur PFB nonsense Blush

Have just been through this agony with senior school allocation. Anybody in Birmingham LEA the emails trickled through from 7am but I didn't get mine until 8.35 am. Good luck everyone I know it's a very nerve wracking time Confused

After chatting with some friends who applied last year for schools our LA send them through at midnight so 17hours to go unless mine comes through later ! I suppose only time will tell

MrsGannicus · 15/04/2015 07:39

Planning on doing whatever it takes to get through today. The school we put first is mentioned in this article so I feel so nervous.

I've only seen mention of an letter or that we can log on online to see. I don't want to be up until midnight unless I have too.

good luck!!! Flowers

Twoplus3 · 15/04/2015 08:11

I've woke up feeling so nervous and anxious about it, I know it's silly as there are more important things to worry about in the world, but still. Oh and I'm a little excited as there's a real possibility that we could find out today by letter before our email tomorrow. We applied for our ds secondary school last year and was supposed to receive an email on Monday the 1st of March which we did but we also got a letter on the Saturday surprisingly, which told us which school he'd been given, I'm not sure that will a happen again though lol, fingers crossed :)

Pagerty · 15/04/2015 08:12

I have been told by previous years applicants that in our area emails come in around 8.30am but we can log on from midnight. I won't be able to help myself from staying up.

sunnydayinmay · 15/04/2015 08:20

For those in Herts, we received a similar email about secondary offers last month. The actual emails came out from around 3pm. I think they were hoping to time it around school run.

Good luck everyone. (Oh, and thinking back, we had our third place primary - best thing that could've happened to us in the end!)

MTWTFSS · 15/04/2015 08:35

sunnydayinmay Thank you :) I'll be home at that time so I hope it comes!

We can log on from midnight to check, but I decided last night I was just going to wait until the morning...but, now its the day...I don't know, even if I don't check I will want to see how all the other midnighters do! i slept terribly last night, so don't suppose tonight will be much better either way!

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 09:25

Hello twine and sunny and everyone else.

BigBroIsWatching · 15/04/2015 09:35

Waiting to hear if my daughter has a place at same school as problem. Fingers crossed the sibling link helps but it's also down to distance and sibling.

Good luck everyone!

coppertop · 15/04/2015 10:53

Good luck everyone. :)

I've just logged in to the admissions website, purely to check that I wrote the password down properly.

I'm also feeling slightly relieved that it says that the relevant schools have received my application. Paranoid? Me? Blush
