Is anyone else dying to find out which school they have been allocated?

This is for my PFB which makes it extra difficult for me :(

I can't talk about it in real life as it starts off as a nice casual conversation ending with some delusions of grandeur PFB nonsense Blush

All this talk food making me feel hungry I can seem a Chinese from my front windows. I'm kind of off food as feel so anxious.

Approx countdown 4hours as mined at midnight

Will check log in and passwords tommorow.

I really not expecting any of my 3 preferences.

All the under subscribed schools distance away.

MTWTFSS · 13/04/2015 20:27

3asAbird Tomorrow is only the 14th, don't all results come out on the 16th?

Gileswithachainsaw · 13/04/2015 20:30

Good luck 3as

3asAbird · 13/04/2015 21:44

Tommorow is Tuesday. Results day thur but ours came through night before at midnight so for me I find out fate midnight wed possibly many hours before other areas that don't find out until lunchtime or 5 pm. With eldest 2009 dident find out until lunchtime.

Thanks for luck I need a miracle.

Currently drinking wine and hoping school admissions don't turn me into alcoholic.

Managed eat half fish fillet and few chips and have tub hagen defrosting.

Gileswithachainsaw · 13/04/2015 21:50

All eating and drinking habits are forgiven and forgotten this week. whatever gets you through. I shall have wine for Wednesday night

MTWTFSS · 13/04/2015 21:52

3as I'm staying away from alcohol for that exact reason!

Apart from crossing our fingers/toes and praying, is there anything else we can do for luck?

OP posts:
Gileswithachainsaw · 13/04/2015 21:54

hold hands and chant?

download some spells?

I drawer the line at dancing naked in the garden though

MTWTFSS · 13/04/2015 21:56

Maybe we can all participate in positive thinking and repeating mantras:

"DS will be allocated (name of 1st choice)"

Let's face it after all this I think we are going to read the worst case result no matter what it says.

I'll probably have to ask someone to read it for me as I won't be able to see anything but that

Twine88 · 13/04/2015 22:04

The OH keeps telling me to be positive, he thinks it will be okay. For once I won't mind him being right!

Midnight weds is fast approaching. Wine

MTWTFSS · 13/04/2015 22:04

Its true Giles :(

Giles you woman after my own heart vino all round.

I feel anxious and tense.struggle sleep.

46hours and 40 mins to be precise.

2 more sleeps..

Trying to keep busy

Should be writing 5.8 hear old reception appeal letter.

Found out year 1 has 4 spaces reception full but every space is lost money to the school and feel sure they can tweak things around fit get in.need to prove not is appeal and it's or edifice greater towards my child than the school.

Gileswithachainsaw · 13/04/2015 22:50

WineWine

just get through the next two days. Then deal with everything else

I certainly won't be achieving much this week.

All he over soon one way or another. well hopefully anyway as waiting fir second round allocations killed me last time

longestlurkerever · 13/04/2015 23:09

Hello again everyone. 1st choice school had their updated ofsted published today and got outstanding for everything. Silly really as I know ofsted doesn't mean masses but it's made me doubly nervous as I am sure we won't get a place and I won't be able to think "ah well it's gone downhill anyway". We are so close that I imagine we will be quite close to top of waiting list but is it sensible to move once they're settled in? Obviously I would if alternative was awful but it's ok, just not as good

Gileswithachainsaw · 14/04/2015 06:34

Two days!!!!!!

hello longest

how's everyone

MTWTFSS · 14/04/2015 06:34

2 days... One minute I'm fine, the next minute I can't do anything :( woke up after having a bad dream but thankfully DS doesn't start nursery until 1pm today so I can laze in my PJs :)
