Primary school allocation countdown- Thursday 16th April...

Is anyone else dying to find out which school they have been allocated?

This is for my PFB which makes it extra difficult for me :(

I can't talk about it in real life as it starts off as a nice casual conversation ending with some delusions of grandeur PFB nonsense Blush

Abc11 I'm in Hertfordshire :) My friend said she received her email last year at around 4pm. This is just one person though.

Omg I am just getting so nervous now. I know it will be catchment school 2nd choice but just hoping for my 1st choice!!!!! I am in Essex and my friends got their emails at midnight so fingers crossed I get mine then ! X

I put down my 3 closest schools thinking if they are my closest surely I'd get one of them... after looking at the stats from last year 2 of them I would definitely not get into Shock

I am such an idiot :(

Where did you find the stats. I found previous allocations but not a table of percentages like you have

My next school is 1770 metres away (same as 3rd choice), and the furthest student to get a place was 1285.55 metres.

My next school is 2414 metres away, and the furthest student was 1744.03 metres away so I wouldn't get that one either.

I just have to hope and pray I get into my second choice!!!

half are siblings too.

but it's not over yet MTWTFSS there's a first yr for everything I found that out. You may get lucky.

sorry to not read back.over so many pages I can't remember who's said what now, please forgive me asking again, how bad is the catchment school, is it somewhere you'd consider short term while waiting in a place?

The 2nd choice (nearest school) is wonderful and I'd be very happy if I get it :)

Thankfully my 3 closest schools are great :) Hence why so many people want them :(
