Older patient with underlying health conditions

TipseyTorvey · 05/03/2020 17:30

I'm sticking to my theory that Boris wants this to spread quickly and get it over with for the sake of the economy and his portfolio and his mates' investments. It doesn't fit his churchillian dream to have this muddy his 'get brexit done' plans.

burntpinky · 05/03/2020 17:32

Went into local Boots and no hand sanitiser. When are the stocks going to be re-plenished?! Found a gel at home I’d bought last year to go on hols but need at least 1 more short term

LightofMine · 05/03/2020 17:36

Oh no Sad thoughts to their family. Sadly it's going to be the first of many in this country unless more action other than 'wash your hands & and sing happy birthday' is taken.

I would never travel without insurance abroad. So many things can go easily wrong. For example people love breaking bones abroad ( thing all inclusive drinks and tilled floors for a start) but I heard someone died abroad and the repatriation of the body was horrendous for the grieving family

Justmum89 · 05/03/2020 17:47

Apparently a child has been diagnosed in alderhay hospital 😭

Ps try not to fall in the I give up pool( lava) suffocate in sand. ( Do not dig straight up) fall ( do not dig straight down) drown, all achievable in peaceful. Do not attack wolves or dogs. The rest of survival gives you many other ways to die.

Well, I got a terrible shock at this Blackeyed was away from the thread for a while, skipped a bit in an attempt to catch up and missed the start of the Minecraft conversation. Read your post above and thought things had taken a very sudden dystopian turn for the worst 😂

SingingBabooshkaBadly · 05/03/2020 17:48

Sorry - didn’t refresh so missed the very sad news. Above post now looks very inappropriately lighthearted.

pasanda · 05/03/2020 17:51

GrinGrin Singing. Made me chuckle!!

NatoPMT · 05/03/2020 17:52

Very sad news 😔

Readyme · 05/03/2020 18:00

It doesn't s surprise me Greece has closed school the 08' recession got the mainland hard even as recently as 3 years ago they were in a bad state especially institutions like Hospitals.

Readyme · 05/03/2020 18:01

schools and hit

JustMeAndMyTins · 05/03/2020 18:05

Well gang, we’ve been sent home. Someone in the office has been contacted because they had a meeting with a confirmed case. It might be go time - one way or the other.

It was always coming but still quite awful. It’s fair to say a dawning seemed to wash over some of the ‘it’s just flu’ club. I was already late for an appointment so didn’t hang around to discuss it.

Legoandloldolls · 05/03/2020 18:06

Can I move to "to be determined?" Only 4 cases there 😂🤪🤣😭

It's too soon to see deaths yet. I dont think it kills quickly

I have added some tissues etc to my superdrug basket so when stocks come back in and ship.to my mum.- good idea PP

WitchDoc · 05/03/2020 18:09

Prepper minds think alike @Readyme

The ONLY reason schools are being kept open here is because of the economy. Parents should be allowed to take their DC out NOW to minimise impact without fear of repercussions because eventually all schools, colleges & universities will be closed anyway.
All that funk Matt Hancock spouted earlier about the economy being good for the NHS was absolute rubbish. Our economy compared the rest of the world has remained strong & yet the NHS has been in decline for many yrs.

GorkyMcPorky · 05/03/2020 18:12

Oh no. Alder Hey will obviously be full of kids with underlying conditions. That's dreadful. If I hear one more fucker saying it's ok, it's just old and ill people I won't be responsible for my actions.

Legoandloldolls · 05/03/2020 18:13

My only tip.for minecraft and Fortnight is dont get the kids to show you while laying down next to them in bed - the motion made me want to heave 🤢

Mrsemcgregor · 05/03/2020 18:17

Massive jump in Italy today. And Germany have doubled overnight. The figures for Europe are very sobering.

MinesaPinotPlease · 05/03/2020 18:19

Second case declared in Luxembourg - someone who returned From Italy.

Legoandloldolls · 05/03/2020 18:20

Alder Hay? OMG those poor kids. Times like this I suddenly feel like you wake up out of a fog bubble and think "shit, my life is actually really good and I'm so lucky" I would be scared if I was a parent there. Hopefully it's not on a ward case. 😢

BlackeyedSusan · 05/03/2020 18:27

You can alter the sensitivity in settings to make it less vomit inducing if on PC at least.

Ds gives me vertigo. He jumps as clutches. ( Places block while falling) I can't watch while he is bridging either or parkouring.

Me: I build bridges 3 blocks wide with fences.

Another tip: make a note of the coordinates of your spawn point incase you die or get lost.

There is also something very therapeutic about fishing in the rain. Catch more fish. ( And enchanted bows)

Minecraft if anyone is confused.
