Just quickly starting new thread as @wheresmymoji is busy. Special thanks to @ofwarren for the updates and special thanks from to everyone posting useful info and being supportive.

The deaths may come later - that's happening here - they're realising pneumonia deaths in people with other conditions were actually coronavirus. Sometimes after they've died.

I wish they would tell us how many cases came from 111 triage for those who meet criteria and how many came from random sentinel screening tests. If the sentinel ones are low, that would be reassuring, but I'm not even sure if they've done any testing yet? It just isn't clear

So they’ll publish more detailed locations soon? Regional areas is useless! The midlands is huge!

Been meaning to get my head around minecraft for months so I can help DS get started. Any tips?

@Neome there are various guides on utube, look for a channel with pg rating. Generally content providers want to keep that rating as there ideal subscriber is the nine year old who will watch the same video lots of times.

Minecraft is impossible to understand. We bought it for DS and ran around clueless dying. Defo going to watch some YouTube guides

With Minecraft, think there are different modes. In Creative you don't Die You just Build and learn how to craft

Need an account. One account per email address.
Can make many worlds in one account. Can play in two modes. Creative ( all resources provided, no fighting mining required) or survival. Survival comes in several levels of difficulty. Peaceful allows you to get started building and mining without getting shot in the arse by a grumpy skeleton or blown up by a creeper. You may need resources from skeletons and spiders though. Tip: wait til you have cats and a bed. Go to sleep safely in your shelter. Venture out in the morning to collect bones once skeletons have frazzled in the sun. If in difficulty, press escape asap and swap back to peaceful again.

Alternatively get your son to go hunting for you.

Once competent and older you can join a server and play PvP. High pixel is well modded.

I've no idea of Minecraft myself unfortunately. My husband helps them with it 🙈
I'm shocking with anything like that.
All I know is there is creative mode and survival mode and if you want to build stuff you go on create as you get attacked on survival mode 😁

It’s all getting too much. Had a talk with the nurse appointment over telephone, raised my concerns and asked her how risky covid is for anyone with diabetes. She was very practical about that and advised to up my vit c daily and vit d3 weekly sachets (which I was prescribed already) I felt a bit reassured to be honest as she said they are all well prepared. Meanwhile my immunpro infection blocker arrived (a friend recommended it which I looked up the other day and shared) I haven’t tried it yet but anyone looking for information I have attached the pics

Ps try not to fall in the I give up pool( lava) suffocate in sand. ( Do not dig straight up) fall ( do not dig straight down) drown, all achievable in peaceful. Do not attack wolves or dogs. The rest of survival gives you many other ways to die.

Stampy is reasonable to watch for little kids....

Minecraft is great value for money, my 15 year old daughter still plays it a lot and she first started playing and about seven years old.

Other endless building type games that a good are Terraria and Junk Jack. (They're a couple of pounds on mobile)

Animal crossing by nintendo is another endless good game. I can't wait for the switch version to come out in a few weeks.

Terraria has a higher age rating. More two dimensional.

We have Minecraft on the switch and the Xbox. Great for when they start fighting each other and getting annoyed 😁 they are so quiet when they play it separately.
