Anyone else sort of looking forward to the Zombie Apocalypse now? We can eat all the mean non-preppers. That is a joke in case any special snowflakes think I will actually eat them.

I'm afraid that The Winchester will always carry connnotations of rifles to me - and that might be unfortunate given the AIBU thread. The Bunker is a bit better.

Having said which, I'm actually growing used to 'Preppers'.

Winchester is guns and ammo to me too although that connection might not be guessed by many making it a bit cliquey.

If people want it I'm fine with changing my user name I'm not esp tied to it.

I see the problem. Pity they didn't call the pub something different in the film! If they'd called it something like 'The Fox and Hounds' it would have worked as a reference to survival rations too (for when the apocalypse/24h power cut has taken everyone past the dog-food-eating stage and into the dog-eating stage, so round about tea time on day 2).
