Hi All,

I hope you are doing well. This is my first thread on here, so apologies if I make any errors.

I just wanted some support really. I am almost 7 weeks pregnant, despite using contraception. It was completely unplanned and has really concerned me, as I am going through some health issues at the moment.

Due to my health issues, I have decided to have a termination. It really upsets me as I didn't want to go down this route, but Im not well. Luckily, my husband is very supportive and says my health comes first.

I have opted for a medical termination. I've been in and out the hospital a lot the past few weeks and I wanted to do the termination at home. My mum is available to look after me when DH is at work and DS is at school.

I am planning to take the first pill on Tuesday after my appointment and the second lot of pills on Wednesday.

Could anyone advise me who has gone through this? How did you manage pain wise? What pain killers did you take and when?

Please don't tell me horror stories or make me feel guilty. Like I said, it's for medical reasons. I believe women should have the option to terminate if they are not in a position or ready to have a baby. Contraception can fail at any time.

Hey im curious as to how you're doing?

It's now 10 days post MA for me.

Still bleeding but very lightly.

I've had moderate bleeding up until two days ago.

Some cramps. Still got migraines (bane of my life).

@Mummy8908 you will be fine 💞 if I can do it, you can too. I really wish I hadn’t ready anything online as so far it’s been nothing like it 🙈

I bled a lot every time I went to the toilet (every 15 minutes) with clots, yesterday. But since 6pm last night it’s light in my pad, just seems to all come out when I’m on the toilet. Will see what today brings but I have woke not feeling sick for the first time in 2 weeks 🥲
also don’t have any more cramps this morning. I had them last night when sleeping but feel ok so far today.
slept from 11-9am this morning. Think I needed it 🙈

My Daughter is poorly today so we are all taking it easy and having a chill day. 💞

I was wondering if it refers to someone with ANXIETY DISORDER

I've been diagnosed with anxiety and have all the symptoms and relatively got worse since I became pregnant.

Been shaking, with palpitations

I have my medication staring at my face and don't just being catastrophically confused.

My husband works 6-10 and was wondering if I'll really need him to be at home before taking it .

He suggested I take it 10pm tonight and take the lot miso tomorrow 10pm and have it all done with all through the night .. I'm thinking
Don't know .

But really I need a push to get this done

Got 3kids and this came without plans for it .
Mentally , financially and my health isn't agreeing .
I guess I don't have a choice now .

if it helps, I’m diagnosed with healthy anxiety and general. I take 40mg propranolol to help twice a day when things are bad. I told the nurse this on the phone and they didn’t say anything negative in taking the medication.

i was so nervous and anxious the past few weeks I was shaking, not sleeping, feeling so low in mood and honestly if I can do it, you can too 🥹❤️

I chose to do the medication at 9am as I wanted the ‘worst’ over for the evening so I could wind down and get some sleep.

i had no side effects from the first one whatsoever so you will be fine with that one 💞 maybe have him there for the 2nd lot of that will give you some comfort. My partner took the day off and explained in a roundabout way to his work as I was very nervous.

I don't know if anyone may have experienced this before .

On the day I found out I was pregnant I spotted a brown discharge and felt that was my period coming ,

Off and on since then I've got this discharge and mild cramps

Took some
Chamomile tea yesterday because it helps me calm them and later had some cramps
Didn't take much note until today I took same tea today and cramped with a brown slippery discharge ( sorry if this sounds gross)

I called the BPAS and was told to not take my mifepristone tablets that I need to go for scan to make sure the pregnancy is growing in the right place

Was asked if I have had pains on my shoulder , felt dizzy or with so much pain
I said no
Though I have had some cramps on my both shoulder to arms due to stress I guess

Has anyone ever had this experience before?

Note : I've got to pregnancy symptoms
Did another pregnancy test today and it came out positive

But I've got they mild cramp and some bubbles feeling in my lower belly

I had to have an early scan to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. However it was due to really extreme cramping.

I was told that brown blood is fine, it's if its red, you should worry.

Either way if it is ectopic, it means you get surgery to remove it. Or they just tell you to take the tablets.

I had mild cramp for a good portion of the time I was pregnant.

Honestly being pregnant was the worst experience of my life and far more painful than the abortion itself.

The abortion was relatively easy.

I've ended up losing my job this week, I'm sure due to the sickness whilst pregnant.
However, my employers couldn't put that in.

Im sorry you are going through this :(. Honestly bupas are just trying to rule out ectopic pregnancy.

It's good to do this scan, just so that everything is checked over.

I know it's easy to say don't worry. However I had brownish red discharge with my first pregnancy and it turned out to be nothing.

Take someone you trust and find comfort in, for the scan. Make sure you drink plenty as a full bladder is ideal.

@PazzyPaz I'm so sorry about your job :(. In the past, I suffered so much work discrimination due to extreme sickness during pregnancy. Thankfully and extremely luckily I managed to keep the job but I was so shocked at peoples reactions. Sickness cannot be helped in pregnancy. Yes we can take anti sickness but a lot of the time it is beyond our control and subsides (hopefully) as the pregnancy progresses.

Still not pregnancy symptoms
But the lower belly cramps still there

@AdoremoM it looks like a positive test to me.

You can go to your GP and request a blood test to confirm your pregnancy if you are unsure or a urine test.

@Mummy8908 Hope everything goes ok for you tomorrow and Tuesday💞 I was just re reading some of the thread and totally missed a few messages. The heating pad absolutely worked wonders, I would say my cramps were only really a 3/10 the whole time anyway but it was so comforting. I was also able to eat, it’s funny as, as soon as I started to pass clots (2 hours and 45 mins after inserting the tablets) my sickness started to fade and I demolished a foot long subway sandwich 😅

Im currently on day 2 post MA and I’m bleeding lightly, and also very red blood every time I wipe. I had some light cramping this morning after doing the food shop but then went home to lay down. I’m dealing with bloating and that’s uncomfortable, but I’m guessing it’s the hormones and water retention. My boobs are still really sore but read that can take time to go back to normal. The sickness is totally gone and I’m so glad as that was making me miserable.

So I've just taken the first tablet 5 mins ago. I was just staring at it for 10 mins, took a deep breath and then swallowed with water.

Feels strange I've done it. I'm just anxious about tomorrow when I insert the 4 tablets in. If you can, could you please send a link for the heat pad you used? I have a hot water bottle here as well.

But my mum went through a miscarriage a long time ago and used a heat pad, she said it helped.

I really want my sickness/nausea to go too.

How are you feeling now? Hope all is ok, thinking of you. 💐 🌹

Just take it step by step and you have done the first part now 👏🏼

Im ok, still bleeding the same, light and manageable. Boobs still hurt so I’m hoping they will go soon😅

Hi everyone I hope you're all okay!
@Mummy8908 I didn't realise we were taking our day 1 tablets on the same day - I had mine today in the afternoon as I had to pick them up at the hospital after the scan.

This nausea has literally got me bed bound, I don't know how I'm going to manage tomorrow - how are you dealing with it?

Also, is it strange that I haven't bled after the first tablet? I know the leaflet and everything says some people do and some don't, I just wanted to check the general consensus here. All of you guys are so strong xx

@Flowermama12 Im glad you are recovering darling. I read boob soreness takes a while to go, but hopefully not long for you. I still feel sick after 1st tablet, I'm inserting the 4 pills tomorrow morning so let's hope I can do it! I've done the first step so I'm hoping I get through the toughest stage too. My nausea is ok I am managing but it's hard. Have you tried light and salty snacks?

Oh I haven't bled after the first tablet either however I just feel exhausted after taking it. I've read majority of people didn't experience anything after 1st tablet.

Although it's normal if you should .

I took the first pill yesterday by 5pm
( was really sick couldn't sleep, and jerking out of sleep woke up feeling tired and dizzy )

Is it fine to take the first 4 dose now? Or wait for the e exact time I took the first ?

I really wanted to take it now in order to feel better before night time.
