Failed abortion- now 22 weeks.

Hello,

I had an abortion at 9 weeks. Turns out that it failed. I’m now 22 weeks, I’ve had a scan& the baby is perfectly healthy& growing fine. I’m just petrified of any birth defects it might have? Are there more chances of disabilities such as autism due to taking the medication?

If it’s the case, in all honestly, I don’t mind. It’s just playing in my mind.

@HANS2015 sorry to text you again. I had medical termination but it was unsuccessful but now I'm bleeding not too much more like spotting so I was kinda worried 😯...... Did you bleed how many days or after how many months

It's OK I had what I thought was a MC and spotting for around 12 weeks went back to see abortion clinic at 11weeks and they told me only way would be a surgical abortion but we decided against it.

@HANS2015 it been a month now.... Today I spotted I thought it was periods or I'm miscarying since abortion was unsuccessful

Yeah I was on and off spotting. I went to see the abortion team at Birmingham at 11 weeks pregnant and they offered me a surgical operation I declined after waiting until 13weeks for an appointment.
I'm now nearly 29 weeks pregnant with a little boy who is defiantly a fighter. I am due in April.
Do what's best for you and your family.
Have you got an appointment booked to see anyone?

@HANS2015 sorry to keep on bothering you... Trust that you are well today.

Honey as you saying after medical termination bluh bluh you had heavy bleeding passing maybe clots or 1 clots.....

Then you returned to clinic or hospital only to find out it was unsuccessful ohk honey after a month you saying you did have bleeding such as periods or spotting? (if you were bleeding during your periods did you soak maybe a Pad was the blood even enough to soak a pad or it only required penty liners?

Secondly did you had cramps on your Lower abdomen during your bleeding after bleeding for the abortion??

I'll be very happy if you answer my questions sorry to keep on nagging I'm sorry 🙏🏽. Xx

@Confusion77 hy trust that you are well, sorry to text you it's just that I need information..... After having medical abortion you did bleed yes and passed clots ohk I heard that part....

My question is did you bleed after a month or had spotting such as periods?

Honey after having failed medical abortion.
Maybe after a month did you have periods or spotting after a month?
And was that blood enough to soak a pad or it only required pentyliner??

I was still bleeding but not heavy. Yes I had cramps and was also sick
Are you booked back into see clinic? Hope you get the answers you are looking for

Can I ask something? I am from the Philippines. We are on the same situation right now. My girlfriend take cytotec as abortion pill when she was 8 months pregnant. We are not ready yet that time to have a baby. But after she bleed it stopped. So we tried to take a pregnancy test for 4 consecutive weeks and still the result is positive. We went to the doctor to check her up and she said that my girlfriend was almost 4 months pregnant and a healthy baby was found. We decided to keep the baby because I think the baby is really for the two of us. I am just afraid that my baby will have a birth defect because of the pills. I am still praying to God that my baby will be healthy and normal. Any cases like me that now have a healthy and normal baby? Please. I just need someone to talk right now. What can we do for our baby to grow normal?

Hi I'm currently 13.2 weeks after a failed medical abortion at 7 weeks. Our heads n heart are saying to continue, it's a fighter and a little miracle. But I'm so scared we've caused harm and not sure whether to continue. Please please can any of you let me know the rest of your stories, if you continued with the pregnancy etc. I feel we are getting no real support xx

That makes me feel soooo much better about deciding not to term my pregnancy after a failed medical abortion. I was 9 weeks when it failed. I went in for a sonogram/follow up and found out pregnancy was still active and I was 12 weeks. I was hesitant about the outcome but I knew I could not go through with surgically termination. I'm now 15 weeks and baby is doing just fine. Growing Healthy baby with great heartbeat. Miracle baby is a fighter and I'm determined to provide a great life for him/her. Thank you for your story. I'm staying positive and praying for Healthy happy baby! 😊
