Redhead - That's great news. Baby may be late so you still might get your date 11/01/11!

I have got my scan tomorrow morning and very nervous. I still don't have any symptoms at 7+3 and so I'm bracing myself for bad news.

Gi1da · 10/06/2010 21:28

Hang in there Marrow I don't think I had any real symptoms in the early weeks, kicked in 9-11 weeks. Do try, and I know how hard it is, to wait and see. If crap happens, deal with it then, but in the meantime, keep your pecker up lovely! [hug]

Redheadgal · 11/06/2010 09:58

Gi1da and Unbuffy - am in total awe of your name-checking abilities.

Memo to self: must try harder! And I will do, but can't today. 'Fraid I'm making a short pit stop to say thanks for all your kind messages and wish Digging and Marrow all the best for their scans today! Fingers crossed for you ladies.

Gi1da · 11/06/2010 14:28

Blimey it's quiet today. Hoping to hear from Marrow and Digging.

Hoping you're all well

Unbuffy · 11/06/2010 15:21

grooooan... no sleep catching up on me... Could really, really do with more than 2 hours in a night... Ah well, off doon the garding centre, back later x

diggingforvictory · 11/06/2010 18:49

Good news!!!! There is a live baby in my tummy!!!! I burst into tears when I heard the heartbeat.
I'm 8+6 which isn't as far along as I thought, but given my random length cycle that's no suprise.

I hope Marrow has similar news. Fingers crossed for you.

Redheadgal · 11/06/2010 19:31

That's great news Digging! You really can't believe you're having a baby until you see it in your belly. I cried too

Gi1da · 11/06/2010 19:40

FANTASTIC Digger! Delighted for you Have a super weekend now x

louisesh · 11/06/2010 19:54

Yeh DIGGING !!!! Excellant news X

Marrow · 11/06/2010 22:15

Congratulations Digging!!

I've got good news too. Baby is growing fine, is the right size and has a good heartbeat! I really can't believe it and guess that I should just start enjoying the fact that I have no symptoms instead of moaning about it!

clareanna · 11/06/2010 22:32

marrow and digging wonderful news!!! Enjoy the weekend!!

clareanna · 11/06/2010 22:36

I miss wine

anyone else? Have got a lovely bottle of wolf blass that I treated myself to just before I found out I was pg- bah.

louisesh · 12/06/2010 09:16

Congrats Marrow .I too miss wine particularly when the weathers s lovely to be sat outside the pub with a nice cold shandy or LARGE glass of wwine!!!

I ve had to give away the wine i had bought before i found out i couldn t stand looking at the wine in the fridge!!!! I found edinsblugh [ i think thats what its called] from mossys is a nice non-alcoholic wine that tastes really nice. Its the best non-alcoholic wine i ve tasted and they have it in white, rose and red.Oh and not to sound like an alcoholic i also miss cider!!!! My mum , whos never drunk alcohol, can t understand why i hate going to pubs at the moment seems a total waste of time!!!!

Unbuffy · 12/06/2010 09:55

Congratulations Digging and Marrow! Hoorah, I like good news!

On the booze front, found quite a nice nonalcoholic beer last night... apparently it's called bernard free - (note to self: don't cpme over all Blackadder, not everone's as weird as me) but I don't hold that against it as it tastes like beer and not sweet water. non alco wine - have never seen the point and stick to fruit juice instead. It just seems wrong!

Enjoy the sunshine everyone!

diggingforvictory · 12/06/2010 10:41

That's brilliant news Marrow!

I can't stand the thought of alcohol at the moment, so don't miss it. I have just added some fancy fruit juices to my shopping order though, because I hate sitting there with yet another glass of water while hubby has a glass of wine!

Ba8y1 · 12/06/2010 13:11

Hi girlies

So sorry not to have been in touch for a while - saw doc on Tues and then had a worrying wait till Friday for my scan (for those who haven't met me yet, I had a bit of a scare last weekend with bleeding etc..) but great news - the scan was perfect - they reckon about 6 weeks so still really early, but we saw the heartbeat so feeling a bit more positive! Still 6 more terrifying weeks to go before I can start to relax! Will have a proper dating scan in a month or so. I have also started feeling really sick this week (which I never did before my mc (at 7wks))- so I'm taking that as a good, if slightly grotty, sign!

Hope everyone else is well? So many new people I'll have to pour myself a large glass of (non-alcoholic ) wine later and properly read everyone's news - but hi and congrats to fellow newbies and congrats to everyone who has had reassuring scans.

MrsJL I was so so sorry to hear your news -thinking of you and your partner and hope to see you back here in the future.

Wishing you all wonderful weekends and enjoy watching/avoiding the footie!

toomuchteaching · 12/06/2010 18:35

marrow and digging brilliant news... and I cried at mine too! It's just so nice to see something for real, makes you feel like you aren't just deluding yourself!

Right, I'm going to have my first go at the list (hope I get this right) and add my scan date. I just want it to come quickly. I actually am feeling much much better, still insanely tired, so I'm trying to assume it's just things settling down but of course worry as usual! At the risk of sharing TMI with you ladies (see previous queries!!) I finally felt like sex! And do you know what I didn't have to do? I didn't have to look like an idiot with my legs up the wall afterwards... yes I actually did that for 7 months! Ooh it was nice just to lie down normally. And I'm sure my DH was glad I didn't look like a loon!

Anyway, on with the list...

Gi1da and JodieO 12 weeks, whoop whoop! I'll be further than before if I can get past 10+4 this week, I'll be so glad when that milestone is out of the way.

Have a lovely evening everyone.

clareanna · 13/06/2010 10:17

ba8by wonderful news - so pleased for you -glad it was prob just that pesky cervix.

Have invested in some alcohol free lager (bleurgh) and managed to get through a world cup BBQ without raising suspicions.

toomuchteaching whoop whoop! make the most of it I say! not much time for action after the baby's born for a bit! my DH is still trying to pretend that "I wasn't just after his seed" and we're still on the SWI schedule of every 2/3 days, however I'm gettimg more and more to the stage of just not wanting to be touched, so not sure how much longer that will last

HappyGirl1 · 13/06/2010 11:47

Marrow Digging Ba8y - absolutely delighted to log on and see such great news. Absolutely delighted for you all! So so happy thats great.

Are there any scans coming up this week? Best of luck to everyone. Gilda I think yours might be? Best of luck to all!

Clareanna i feel guilty readinghow you are on a SWI schedule of every 2/3 days! We haven't SWI in like I'd say 2 weeks. I feel so guilty but have just been tired but DH is like there are no rules etc you have to relax but I dunno I feel bad. I definitely have to make more of an effort there this week! Going to sign up for pregnancy yoga too and hopefully get back to the gym. Lots of plans for the week!

Gi1da · 13/06/2010 15:43

Yay Marrow fab news on your scan.

You too Ba8y , what wonderful news.

Claranna oh yes how I miss wine. Though I am taking a very scrummy bottle of prosecco to Cornwall with us next week - I'm looking forward to finding a beach where we can watch the sun go down over the sea and I will have one fabulous glass to celebrate life. Going with DH and my best friend so am sure they will finish the bottle before I get tempted to have more!

Toomt thanks for breaking out the bunting. I can't believe I've reached 12 weeks! Not long till your milestone date this week, it will come round really soon and it feels great to leave it behind!

Happy yes my scan is on Tuesday afternoon, it can't come soon enough!

Hoping all is well with all of you x

Hi Ladies,
Great news on reassuring scans! Good to see our list and bumps keep growing.

g1lda and happy, I have an appt. Tues. afternoon. Not sure if I'll get a scan or just the doppler. FX for scan of course, but would be happy and reassured to hear heartbeat.

Some stress has lifted here for me as school's out for summer. Couldn't work up the nerve to tell colleagues before leaving as I just want the reassurance of scan or hb one more time. Suppose I'll just show up with a big belly and some pink n blue cookies in the fall. Have also not told friends except the one's who noticed no alcohol and asked.

On that front, I'm OK most of the time, but would really love a drink at others. Wine, beer, even had a big urge to put creme liqueur in my decaf coffee this AM. Then read a 14w update from BabyCenter and remembered...this is all for a good cause and will pass. Can hardly wait to have a celebratory drink!!!

Unbuffy · 13/06/2010 17:32

Fabby news Marrow and Ba8y! Congratulations!

And good luck Gilda for this week, fingies and toesies crossed for you!

Zayja I also have a mw appointment this week, am hoping for hb listening! Am in that panic/not worrying/panic fluctuation thang. The other night I thought i felt movement and was over the moon and thought 'all's well then' and then swung back to panic a couple of mornings later... Damn these hormones!

It's just started raining here - quite a good thing as the pressure has dropped sharply and my headache has gone!

diggingforvictory · 13/06/2010 17:38
