unbuffy -aw shit that is really shit you must be feeling wretched right now. lots of sticky vibes and prayers coming your way. Don't lose hope yet.

memory that is wonderful news...congratulations

sarahlou - great news about the scan. such a great feeling to see your little one waving at you!

Jacanne i cannot believe that you will have your baby this time next week....getting serious baby envy. i am nearly twenty weeks and cannot believe that i have another twenty to go....i feel like i have been pregnant forever already!!

hello to the newbies. nothing to insignificant to worry about or question on here....bring all your stuff to us and we will help dissect and obsess.....its our job!

Well i am having an SPD emergency as the power rangers would say....docs and MW confirm that there is not much i can do except take anti inflammatories which i can't actually take anyway due to my ongoing gastritic condition ( minimal stomach lining)
Its painful going up stairs and too much walking sets it off but the best news of all i was told (after two days of bedrest mon and tues....) is that i may as well go back to work as it is only going to get worse and that this is the best it is going to get from now on AAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH......

ooh NOW I REALLY AM grumpy.....

But bubs is kicking me as we speak and now all of a sudden i don't feel so grumpy anymore....

My mum has suggested the name Honeysuckle which i have actually started to fall in love with....is it the hormones??

Goodluckbear · 22/04/2010 14:08

Unbuffy - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I hope this is ok, let us know what happens after the scan tomorrow. Rooting for you that this turns out fine.

Sarahlou8 · 22/04/2010 17:53

Unbuffy sending you all the luck in the world for tomorrow, worrying times, but people do have positive endings even when they feel all is lost. I'll be thinking of you xx

Thanks for all your kind words, it's so lovely to know where to find support - and to those of you who it is still early days for, I know how you feel, I still don't think I'll relax for quite a while, but we will get there I hope.

How are things with a new baby memory?

Sarahlou8 · 22/04/2010 17:56

Sorry Memory, your new baby, not a new baby! That sounds bad! trying to listen to DS practice his guitar while typing!

memorylapse · 22/04/2010 23:40

ooh i really really really hope unbuffy comes back with good news....

Unbuffy · 23/04/2010 16:18

Hello!

Guess what? They found a heartbeat! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO relieved - I'd just about convinced myself it was gone and braced myself (and Himself) for the worst. So happy and relieved but not getting too excited yet... Still only 8+3 by my calculations... Trying hard to be Sensible Susan... They were lovely at epac and didn't even need to do an internal so an added bonus!

Thank you everyone crossing fingers for us, you may now wiggle them and ease the cramp. Your support got me there today, it has to be said - nearly didn't get out of bed this morning as I was so afraid of bad news.

x

Goodluckbear · 23/04/2010 16:30

OMG I just saw you'd posted so I was clicking like mad to get the page up going "please be good news please be good news please be good news" and LOOK AT THAT!! Very pleased for you Unbuffy, what a relief!!

Must be good stats for success if a heartbeat at 8+3

Here's to 7 more months of easy pregnancy!! Now you can have a lovely weekend!!

xxxx

thefatladyscreams · 23/04/2010 18:41

Oh fantastic news Unbuffy. Hope you and DH have a very relaxing evening. So pleased for you. As GLB says, the stats are really on your side now!

Big wave to Cheepz

Memory - hope her conjunctivitis clears up quickly, poor sweetie.

Don't think I've seen Lee on here for ages (or maybe I'm just very unobservant) - has anyone heard from her?

Gi1da · 23/04/2010 19:31

Unbuff am SO glad to hear all's well.

Oops hello everyone just a quick crash from the ttc-ers. I found this thread after I had my bfp but its a bit too early for it to sink in so am still on t'other side. Anyhoo, I saw Buffer's earlier post and have been checking back anxiously for news. Breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Wishing a very happy and relaxed sunny weekend to all, and especially you Buffs.

louisesh · 23/04/2010 21:00

hI to everyone else X Too tired to post , baby fine but loads of sh*t with everythinh else....will fill you in when had a good sleep X

zayja · 23/04/2010 22:56

unbuffy, that's great news, my heart was sinking when I read your earlier post and then scrolled down to see the great news.

Have fun in the sun meita - was hoping you'd get to get away.

Great news on your scan as well sarah, I think every one is nervewracking!!! I can't wait and surely hope I get to see my little bean wave in a few months!

Welcome gi1da, claire, malteser and oxymandias! Glad to see glb happygrl unbuffy and I will have company near the bottom of the list (when we work up the nerve to join that is )

You're right tfls - lee is MIA. Did she mention anything about going away for a bit?

Cheepz I do hope you'll be back with us here again soon. Know it will happen with your positive outlook.

Had a hell of a day today - am thoroughly hating my job - so stressed and don't know what exactly to do. Cried all the way home - apologizing to bean all the way - "so sorry for all the stress - mom won't always be like this" Got home and really vented (to no one) but feel better now. At least it's the weekend ...

ClaireDeLoon · 24/04/2010 07:33

That's such lovely news unbuffy! So very pleased for you

I peed on another clearblue devil stick today and relieved that is now saying 2-3 weeks, think I'll be 4+2 today but wasn't tracking ov dates so not entirely sure.

barrenbrook · 24/04/2010 16:00

Hello all, sorry for unauthorised leave of absence, work has taken over my life and typically has been insanely busy, so much for me taking it easy and getting lots of sleep. 12 hour days are not fun!

upduffybuffy you had me going there for a minute you little minx! Thank heavens it was good news!

Hope everyone is well, I must admit to being quite slack and not reading very thoroughly through what I've missed.

Boodleboot sorry about the pains chicken, is there really nothing they can do????

Am 7+2 today and so far so good. Have to wait for a letter from the hospital for booking in and Dr has asked for me to get an early scan due to previous 2 mc. Hopefully it will come soon, don't quite believe it all just yet and probably won't until I see something in there!

Enjoy the sunshine this weekend ladies

louisesh · 25/04/2010 16:02

Hi all.Hope everyones have a lovely weekend although, just started chucking it down here!!!!!

Had our private scan yesterday was very good all babys measurements correct for 17 weeks, no problems seen and we re having a GIRL!!!! Just working through names now.Everything seems soo real now its odd before obviously, i knew it was a baby but now we know our baby is a girl!!!!! ODD!!!!!!!

Just "debating" with DH as my surname's double barrelled and i want our baby to have both surnames but Dh doesnt!!!! WE LL SEE!!!!!!!

Now , i think, finally accepting this is happening!!!!

Family very happy...So our little fighter is a girl, makes sense really doesn t it? Always found us women, by and large, to be the stronger sex, emotionally, mentally and quite often physically.DH still in a state of shock as he also says this makes it all REAL!!!!

HoopsAndBaby · 25/04/2010 16:10

Hello ladies, just dropped by to see how you're all getting on, congratulations memory Olivia is a gorgeous name, sorry haven't read the whole thread, having a newborn is quite tiring!!

Gi1da · 25/04/2010 16:33

Hello all, can I join properly? Time to be brave and face up to the fact that yes, I am definitely diffed. Some here I know from ttc (waves at Happy, Upduffy, Zayja, NotatallBarrenbrook, GoodluckBear, Malteser) and a respectful nod to the ladies further along the journey.

Am just 5+1 wks today (ttc#1) due 25th December so just all early days. I previously got to 9 weeks in February, so I figure since I just can't maintain a state of anxious high-alert for the next 4 weeks, I may as well just relax.

Feeling well, just getting tired easily and crashing out in the evenings. Guess I'll contact the doctors this week to get on their list. Doubt I'll get an early scan so none of this will probably feel real for quite some time!

Congratulations to Louisesh on your news! How exciting!
