It may be a bit previous, but have done 5 tests - all positive (albeit faint lines). Am about 5 weeks. Anyone else out there who has just found out they are expecting?

Still here. Not due for another week, not showing the least littlest sign of having this baby any time soon, finally reasonably close to prepared. I have officially given up on the universe as am exhausted and if I do anything the least bit tiring I come down with a cold. My blood pressure is up, I gained 3 pounds in the last week, I can't wear my wedding ring reliably, and I'm going to the library so I can lie around and read trashy murder mysteries and see if I feel better. I also waddle when I walk and she's lying on a nerve so I have this nasty itchy burny stripe across my right ribs. Not that this is making me whiny or anything.

On Sunday, a friend is throwing a baby shower for me, though, so I can't complain too much about the universe.

Well good luck to everyone and do post your news on the site
No signs of my baby arriving yet, even though she is due on Tuesday. Feeling quite run down, what with gastric bug earlier this week and now a cold/throat infection and ds seems to be catching everything under the sun at the moment. Can't sleep very well either, hence I am posting this at 3.45am! All good practice, I suppose!!!
Best of luck everyone.......

OK - we're in the final week of Feb. Anyone else here seriously overdue? I am now 2 weeks late, and have a date to be induced on Thursday. Am now starting to think my dates may have been out. Midwife says she can't understand why baby hasn't arrived as 'all the signs are good'.

DD asked this morning why things were taking such a long time - said I thought things were just too comfy in my tummy (it's all the ice cream I'm eating probably).

How is everyone else?!!

I thought I was due the 20th, but the OB says the 18th. Had a non-stress test yesterday, and an ultrasound to check amniotic fluid today, and everybody cooed over both results -- such a happy, cooperative baby! Such beautiful amniotic fluid! And a good thing too, as she is still not dropping and I still have an unfavorable cervix.

Everybody keeps asking if I'm impatient, and I'm not, really. It would be fine with me if I went into labor, but I'm a bit scared of the whole thing, not to mention everybody keeps telling me I'll never sleep again and it's so easy to damage a newborn.

I had my little girl on 16 Feb, a day early - see birth announcements. Best wishes and good luck to everyone who is still to pop

Still pregnant. Still no noticeable contractions,
baby hasn't dropped, nothing going on. After a great deal of back and forth, we agreed to schedule induction for 42+5 (a week from Monday) against the Dr's recommendation (he wanted 42+1, as he believes firmly in 42 as a magic date -- not, I note, so magical that he was willing to go for 42+2, because he was busy that day, and of course the next two days are the weekend). I was 10 days late; DH was 3 weeks late and induced. All test results are still perfect, perfect, perfect, the baby is very active and amniotic fluid is high normal. I just can't believe that inducing with no signs of readiness is better for her than leaving her where she is! The Dr. I believe is hoping I will be more reasonable on Monday (after another AFI and non-stress test). And everybody is telling me to have this baby this weekend.

On top of which the #$@%%^ hospital now says that I have an overdue bill from September, which they have told me was a billing error every month from November on! "I can't imagine who would have told you that" said the lady from accounting. I only just finished off 4 months of getting $1000+ dollars removed from another bill because they did the wrong tests. And I just paid them a vast amount of money as a pre-payment for the delivery. I am having hysterics and drinking raspberry leaf tea.

Well, I'm due today but it's not looking likely now. I suspected as much from the start which is why I have been hanging around more on the March thread all these months.

So, here comes Overduesville again, quite familiar territory for me! Anyone else overdue now?
