Yep they checked it every couple of hours and it was ok. Think they think I've got pre eclampsia though, but they don't really know what to do with me and I can't take time off work as I'm hourly paid. Amy- we go to bed early as we get up early for work and they do turn their loud music off uite early but they're up all night chattering and laughing and smoking weed so I just can't sleep. I've written a whole rant about it in AIBU so that I could get it off my chest without whining to you guys. I doubt I'll check the answers though as they're usually horrible on AIBU lol. At least it helped me get it out my system, eh?

Memory- your EPU are horrible!! Good luck for tomorrow. If it was only half an hour hopefully it will be ok. If they get funny, go to your GP and they cam refer you, there's nothing EPU can do then, they can't turn you away. How many weeks are you?

boodleboot · 10/09/2009 13:20

not good news from the repeat bloods. my levels have risen from 3200 to 4564 bu that is not enough of a rise and they are concerned now that it is ectopic. THey are rescanning me tomorr morning at 10.15 to see if they can locate anything on the scan. I am so fed up of having to wait. it was bad enough this morning having to wait for the results let a lone having to wait til another vile internal before i know what is going on.....

of course it could rupture before then and they have told me i need to get straight to AE if tahts the case

gutted.

Oh Boodle I so didn't see this coming. You really helped me when I was TTC. Is there still hope? Some people's HCG rise slower than others, no? Really hoping for the best for you. They might be fussing over nothing.

amyboo · 10/09/2009 14:09

Oh no boodle. Could it not still be OK at the scan tomorrow? Hope everything works out OK for you. let us know how it goes. x

memorylapse · 10/09/2009 14:10

Boodle..dont give up hope yet..sometimes it can take 72 hours for the levels to rise...

Im going for a scan tomorrow morning and am fully expecting to be told that my pregnancy has failed

Jacanne · 10/09/2009 15:44

Oh Boodle - I hope all is okay and that the scan tomorrow is good news.

Memory I am in the same place as you at the moment - I had some brown discharge a few days ago and this morning some watery red blood - seems to be brownish when I wipe though not much yet but I have been in this position twice before so I know what to expect - I have a scan on Monday so expect to find out for sure then.

Your EPU are being really shitty - hope they're nicer when you go in - sometimes it just depends on who is on.

I know lots of people who have bled but gone on to have successful pregnancies - I hope that is the case for you - it just never seems to work out like that for me.

Meita · 10/09/2009 15:48

Oh ladies, I'm just peeking in from the other thread to see how everyone is doing, am so sad to hear of all your troubles. I will be thinking of you, and hoping for the best possible outcomes. Good luck tomorrow boodle and memory.

memorylapse · 10/09/2009 18:15

Jacanne..keeping my fingers crossed that all is ok on your scan..this time may be different for you

lizzie9442 · 11/09/2009 07:11

morning everyone, I'm so nervous today as have a scan at 9.40 this morning. I am 7 weeks today so hoping everything will be good.

good luck memory and boodleboot with your scans this morning to xxxx

boodleboot · 11/09/2009 08:05

good luck lizzie....try not to be nervousi'm sure your scan will be well.

i should really take my own advice as am feeling pretty freaked out that today may be the day they tell me the pg is all over for me....really still dont think this is an ectopic but thats just my intuition, in fact my intuition tells me it will all be ok but that really sounds like tempting fate doesn't it....

i guess i need to remember what ever happens that as i am NOT God i don't have to understand his plan for me in its entirety.

wishing memory and lizzie peaceful scans today.

spk later

Good luck everyone who has scans etc. today - looks like a busy day for it- I hope you all have good news and I am thinking of you.

I have a less exciting GP appointment this morning so working from home and will be checking up regularly on mn to see how you all got on.

I still don't feel at all pregnant so finding it hard to believe. Have tried to be really rational and sensible about it but think I am going to cave today and by some digital test so I can see if the number of weeks is going up to reassure me - is this mad?

LeeWT · 11/09/2009 11:24

Just popping my head in to say good luck to those having scans today am sending loads of sticky vibes to you!!!!

memorylapse · 11/09/2009 11:42

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 11/09/2009 13:06

Fantastic news memory and lizzie. Looks good! It's a great feeling to see that little heartbeat isn't it?

GiPi1 · 11/09/2009 22:17

Hi Everyone - just catching up as not been on for about a week (sorry!!) just got a new puppy - arranged before found out I was pg and wasn't prepared to disappointed my little ones by not going ahead and getting her.
memory and lizzie fantastic news and keep positive totally your neighbours sound like a bloody nightmare - start recording the noise and then send it in to Env Health alon with times etc (saw a programme on this once!!) hope they shut up soon for your sake.
Boodle really really hope everything is OK - please let us know, if you can, we are all worried about you.

Nothing really to report from me - 7 weeks today but very few symptons - no nausea, boobs a bit achy but only a tiny bit bigger, lots of wind {blush} though!! Am worried about the lack of symptons and 12 week scan seems sooo far off. Was very tired today though and managed to sleep from 10am - 1pm aahh bliss - but still having some tummy pain (still hoping its the stretching) but am still knicker checking and worrying that I might not hold onto this bean !!

Keep positive everyone and in case I forget (cos my memory (or lack of it) is the one symptom I do have - or maybe it is just my age !! he he he, thanks to everyone for all their support on here - am so glad I found it !!

Prisci · 12/09/2009 07:29

Hello all,

Sorry I have not posted for a while, got one of the worst trip ever going to France followed by poor DS having bronchitus combined with teething and being jet lagged. My mum tried to help a bit but he does not want anybody elses and the lack of sleep got me panicked as my symptoms dissapeared for a few days but they are all back now (nausea & all), so I guess everything is fine at the moment but I still can't relax, can't wait to get a 12 weeks scan when I get back home. DS is finally starting to get better so I might get some sleep as I can barely function.

memory and lizie thats wonderful news indeed.

Jacanne · 12/09/2009 10:58

So please for you both Memory and Lizzie - lovely news

Still bleeding here - really odd because it keeps stopping and starting - seems to be happening every other day - wish I was being scanned earlier but also don't want to go too, ifyswim.

I feel crappy at the moment - so completely exhausted but then dd2 has had a nasty sickness bug and have had lots of worry and interrupted sleep and now have a bit of a bug myself. It has been a truly shitty week and I don't think the next is going to be any better.

I hope that all is well with you Boodle - keeping fingers crossed that you have had good news.

MummytoEli · 12/09/2009 13:24

Hello Everyone, just thought id come and join u all here. Ive just found out im pregnant for the second time, first born is 14mths. After doing 4 BFN tests a week after my AF was due I took another test at 2 weeks late and to my suprise got a BFP done 4 tests since and all are definatley positive but lines are still quite faint so a little worried... ive booked my first appointment for wednesday so fingers crossed everything will be fine and I can start looking forward to bringing my second bub into the world xxx

Sunnydale · 13/09/2009 11:55

Hello all
Oh Boodle, Boodle am thinking of you and have all fingers and toes crossed that all is fine - I've been unable to check this thread for a few days and was scrolling and scrolling down in the hope that you'd posted good news. I'm hoping no news is good news. Please let us know how you are.

Memory so delighted that your news is good - again, an anxious scroll down to finally see the smiley emoticon. Hurrah!

Jacanne hope your bleeding is light and means nothing at all.

Totally so sorry you are having a nightmare. I didn't know pre eclampsia could happen so early; is it definitely so? Your neighbours so aren't helping: my SIL is in the same boat with hers (though she isn't pg) and I don't think anyone can understand how upsetting and exhausting it is until they've been through it. They are so selfish.

I'm abroad with work this week - got severe jetlag, woke up at 4am, dreading how I'll feel later. Symptoms range from nausea and exhaustion (had to go to bed at 9.30pm two nights in a row) to feeling hardly pg at all. It's as though the bean has growth spurts that knacker me and then rests again. Every day is different, but I can say that for me, stress magnifies every symptom much more. Ideally, we would all just lie around eating biscuits all day, but sadly that is not possible! Man, I feel rough and nervous today, but then it is only 7am here.

Hello to everyone else and welcome to Mummyeli
