Totally-thats lovely news

I had another scan yesterday but although the baby is fine, the clot has increased in size

amyboo · 08/10/2009 08:17

memory - sorry to hear that the clot has increased. What are the consequences of that? Will the baby be OK?

memorylapse · 08/10/2009 11:19

amyboo..theyve told me that the likely outcome is that I will miscarry by 12 weeks.....Ive decided that until I know for sure whats happening, Im going to stay off the threads because I dont want to fill them with doom and gloom..so Im going to wish you all hapy and healthy pregnancies

amyboo · 08/10/2009 12:36

Sorry to hear that memory. I'm going to keep my fingerc crossed that everything works out though. Let us know how you get on. x

Jacanne · 08/10/2009 18:15

Will be thinking of you Memory - if there is any chance that it could all work out I will be hoping and praying that it does - loads of hugs to you.

hoops997 · 08/10/2009 21:44

really sorry to hear that memory, everything crossed that clot goes away and little babs will be fine xx

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 09/10/2009 20:50

Oh Memory I'm so sorry we've lost you too. You're a lovely lady and I hope that the clot stops growing and baby makes it.

Are there only 3 of us now? The TTC thread was so lucky and this thread has been so unlucky.

My good news is that baby is kicking all the time which is just lovely. DH can feel her kicking his hand now too.

Amy and Jac- how r things?

memorylapse · 09/10/2009 22:05

Totally..no, you havent lost me..Ive done some soul searching and have decided to try and be positive and will this little bean on..positive vibes is what this little one needs

hoops997 · 09/10/2009 22:17

glad to hear you being positive memory we are all sending positive vibes to you and your little bean

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 10/10/2009 09:57

Good on ya Memory!!! You've still got your bean in there so positivity can only do it the world of good xxx

amyboo · 10/10/2009 10:34

Positive vibes are definitely the way to go memory. Sending some more positive vibes in your direction...

Things with me are fine. Bump seems to be coming along nicely - am off to buy some maternity trousers today, as my current ones are getting far too uncomfortable.

That's great news about the movement totally - I can't wait to be able to feel my baby move.

Jacanne · 10/10/2009 12:50

I'm sending you loads of positive vibes too Memory!

I'm okay so far - still feel rotten which is good. I managed to fall down the last 2 steps of my stairs yesterday and landed on my knees which really panicked me - I felt really rough afterwards but not sure if that was just from the worry - I'll be 11 weeks on Monday (I hope).

Have just found out that my cousin is pregnant and due 3 days before this one, has her scan the day before me (have had to change my scan date to 22nd because of work - so even more waiting) - my Mum is gagging to tell everyone but she is absolutely forbidden to.

memorylapse · 10/10/2009 15:13

Thanks for the positive vibes

Jacanne-Im sure bean will be fine..its safely tucked away in your pelvis still and well cushioned

BestLaidPlans · 12/10/2009 20:30

Hello, I've been lurking for about a week and wondered if I could join please? I was on helpet's TTC after MC thread and am now 5+2 and completely neurotic.

Hope everyone's well.

hoops997 · 12/10/2009 20:37

memorylapse · 12/10/2009 21:18

10+2 today..sickness seems to have stepped up another notch..feel horrific..am hoping that this is actually a good sign and that bean is still hanging on in there
Got my booking in appt tomorrow

welcome to the thread Bestlaidplans

Meita · 12/10/2009 23:17

lurks in

Congrats BLP! I was on helpet's thread too... did we lose you when we all moved over to totally's thread? Anyway, you seem to have managed quite successfully on your own! Good luck to you and your bean!

lurks out

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 13/10/2009 09:29

Hello BestLaidPlans, we're all neurotic at times too so you'll fit in nicely. Congratulations on your little bean

Memory- I've had sort of batches of hormones throughout this pregnancy- suddenly getting really sick then a few weeks later a bit sicker and more upset etc so I think it's a good sign, as horrible as it is. When's your scan? I was a week further on when I went for my 12 week scan, which was even better! I've just realised on reading your post that I haven't been feeling pregnant-sick for a few days now.

I'm off work today, I have a horrible head cold

I have a nocturnal baby, she kicks like mad at night and very early morning DH and mum have felt it now so everyone's starting to get excited. Can't believe I'm here at week 21. You'll all be here soon

Shall we start a new list of due dates, weeks etc? Everyone add

TotallyandUtterlyPaninied- 21 weeks- Due 24th Feb- GIRL- Has 1 DS.

amyboo · 13/10/2009 12:46

Hello to bestlaidplans - we're definitely all prone to being neurotic, so you're more than welcome to join in with our fretting.

Memory - glad to hear you're feeling rubbish, if you know what I mean! When I was feeling really rough, I took solace in the fact that maybe it meant that the bean was very comfy.

Sorry to hear about your cold totally - I recommend sofa, daytime TV, duvet and a nice mug of hot Ribena!

And, I've finally decided I can add myself to the list, after avoiding it forever. I can definitely feel a hard bump just under my tummy button, so I'm guessing all is going well

TotallyandUtterlyPaninied - 21 weeks- Due 24th Feb- GIRL- Has 1 DS.
amyboo - 15+4 weeks - Due 2nd April - DC#1

hoops997 · 13/10/2009 16:05

Hello, can I add myself to the new list, only really need to put ditto marks underneath amyboo!! TotallyandUtterlyPaninied - 21 weeks- Due 24th Feb- GIRL- Has 1 DS.
amyboo - 15+4 weeks - Due 2nd April - DC#1
hoops997 - 15+4 weeks - Due 2nd April - DC#1

hope everyone is doing well, can't believe how quick this time is going, I have my 20 week scan on the 13th Nov and that seems just round the corner, anyone else not planning to find out the sex on their scans?

amyboo · 13/10/2009 16:18

Wow hoops - we really are on the same path aren't we?

I've got my next gynae appointmen next week, but no scan apparently Seems a bit mean when he has the machine in his office... Maybe I'll try a little pleading. I guess next appointment will be 4 weeks after that. Am planning to find out the sex though, as I don't like surprises. All my friends think I'm mad for finding out though...

hoops997 · 13/10/2009 16:22

yep we are on the same path, I don't really have a bump yet though, I can feel it when I lie down but that's about it.........my little sister gave birth to a lovely boy this morning so going to hospital shortly to have a look at my new nephew she has called him Alfie......

amy I'm sure you persuade your doc to let you have a scan, do you not have a 20 week scan? I thought that was the important one?
