Sorry to hear you're still bleeding GiPi. It still could be nothing - I know hoops (also on here) bled lots throughout the first few weeks of her pregnancy too... Definitely good that they seem to be looking after you though and giving you another scan in a couple of weeks.

I don't have much news. Still waiting for my next scan - Tuesday - to see if I've got past the point where it all went wrong last time. I've still got symptoms, and I can't fit in any of my trousers, which I'm hoping is a good sign! I've actually got my work trousers held up with safety pins today - am hoping no one will notice. 12 weeks tomorrow (hopefully).

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 18/09/2009 17:57

Welcome Vic.

My headaches are getting worse. Feel dreadful. Been to doctors. Baby's heart rate is 130. Is that about right for 17 and a bit weeks? I keep feeling that somethings wrong Cried about it today. Desperate for scan.

Hope all's well Gipi.

hoops997 · 18/09/2009 18:23

Hi GiPi

As amyboo has said I had lots of bleeding from about 6 weeks onwards, and I'm talking lots! So much that when I went for a transvaginal scan it was all over the probe(TMI I know but) babby was fine so sonographer wasn't worried and neither was I.....anyway bleeding stopped a couple of weeks ago and have had a bit of brown spotting but thats it.........don't give up hope, they weren't able to tell me why I was bleeding just said it was one of those things...am 12 weeks today

I know what you are going through just remember that you have seen a healthy bean, don't underestimate the power of positive thinking.......thinking of you and cheering GiPi-bean

GiPi1 · 18/09/2009 22:35

hoops totally and Amy thanks so much for your encouragement and positiveness -

hoops it makes me feel better to know that this has happened to others too !! I will be more positive and wait for the bleeding to cease - am counting down the days till the next scan though !!!!

amy good news about your trousers - very positive - when is your scan??

totally I think that your baby's heartrate is about right - boys heartrate is apprently a little slower than girls??!!!

take care and thanks again xx

Hi littleone

The wedding planning is going really well, considering it's now only eight weeks away. DP is out with the dads and ushers getting measured for their suits this morning, and I'm off shopping with my mum to find her outfit.

Am slightly worried my dress won't fit on the day as when I went for my fitting four weeks ago, they decided to take quite a lot in around the boobs and waist. Given I assume they're the first bits to grow in pregnancy, I'm worried we should have left them as they are... On the plus side, the dress is a lace-up back so at least there's a bit of give there...

Anyway, hope everyone's okay and GiPi, I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 19/09/2009 13:08

Hi Viv, I got married this summer, and I was 3 months pregnant. My dress fit, but it was tight as we were abroad and I'd swelled up. When I came back and had a wedding night do, it fit a bit better! But half way through the night I had to have the tie-up loosened at the back as I nearly passed out!! Hardly anyone knew I was pregnant so I kept getting vodka and lemonade bought for me, but gave them to my SIL and DH would get me a plain lemonade, however, I think at some point the drinks had been mixed up as I suddenly seemed really drunk! Hope your wedding's beautiful.

Gipi- I'm in the counting down the days til scan club too But today I have woken up with a HUGE bump so hopefully all's well.

LittleOneMum · 21/09/2009 09:27

Oh, viv that sounds really exciting! I'm sure it will all be fine - is this your first DC? You won't grow that fast...

I am going for an early scan today at lunchtime, so will keep you posted. I am refusing to get excited... x

amyboo · 21/09/2009 11:26

The wedding planning sounds exciting Viv. At least it'll give you something else to think about as well...

Hope everything's OK with you totally. Sounds like you're having a bit of a rought time. When's your next scan?

Good luck for your scan littleone. Fingers crossed for you.

I've got my scan at 8am tomorrow morning. I should be 12+4 then. I lost my last pg at about 12 weeks (found out at 13 week scan), so tomorrow will be a real milestone for me and DH. I pray everything goes OK, as I'm really not sure how we'd cope if it happened again. Gynae seemed pretty positive at the last appointment, and I've definitely got a bump of sorts coming along, so I'm hoping that's a positive sign. Can't wait to get tomorrow behind me.

Hello to everyone else. HOw are you getting on hoops? I think we're at about the same stage. Have you had your 12 week scan yet?

VivClicquot · 21/09/2009 13:21

Yep, it's our first DC so it's an exciting time!

I came off the pill back in April with the intention of TTC after the wedding. However, I fell pg right away which came as a bit of a shock! Had everything with that lovely little bean worked out, I would have been around 30 weeks at the time of the wedding so there's no way I would have been able to wear my dress! At least this time around (all being well), I should still beable to squeeze into it...

LittleOneMum · 21/09/2009 14:45

amyboo I have literally everything crossed for you. I can't believe how heart breaking that must have been for you - but there is no reason for it to happen again. I'll be looking out news...

My scan went totally fine - 3mm bean, I'm only just 6 weeks, but we saw heartbeat and everything and I almost wept with relief. Mind you, there's still a long way to go, but so far so good...

Viv sounds like you planned it perfectly and I want to hear exactly what your dress looks like!

hoops997 · 21/09/2009 15:00

hello everyone,

Just got back from my 12 week scan and all is good, the baby was jumping arouund like a little frog! So much so the sonographer took half an hour to see everything she needed to!

Baby is 58.7mm and the nuchcal (sp?) measured 1.5mm, is that good?? Measured bang on dates...still due 2nd April 2010.

We saw 2 hands with fingers and 2 feet with toes, I'm so happy, was really scared at first but all is good so am fine

Good luck with your scan tomorrow amyboo and everyone else having the 12 week scan soon xx

amyboo · 21/09/2009 15:35

Great news about your scan littleone - it must have been a relief to see a heartbeat.

Great news about your 12 week scan as well hoops! I'm so relieved for you after all the rubbish you've been through. My EDD is 2nd April as well, so we really are on the same timetable!

Am starting to get very nervous about tomorrow. Seem to be convincing myself that it's all going to go wrong again. Only another 14 hours to go....

hoops997 · 21/09/2009 17:49

amy fingers crossed for you tomorrow, I was terrified as I hopped up on the bed thing, but as soon as I saw that little flicker I knew everything was fine and the sense of relief was enormous.......here's to 2nd April......I'll race ya!!!!

oopsacoconut · 21/09/2009 18:31

Hi All

Can I join you. I have just had a bfp and am terrified. I have a 13m DD and have had 2mc so every little tweak or cramp is scary. With DD we had fertility treatment to concieve and this one has come as a surprise but everytime we have managed naturally we never make it past 6weeks. I am 4+4 today and the midwife rang today to book me in early and organise an early scan as she persuaded me that I was not sure of my dates which she says is the only way to get an early scan or I would have to wait until 20wks. We are taking things 1 day at a time and praying it all sticks.

amyboo · 22/09/2009 09:43

Just had my scan and everything was fine! Yipppeeeeeee! Am now 12+5. Saw little wiggling bean, with all limbs and organs present and correct. Nuchal measurement was 1.5mm which is apparently good (gynae said it should be under 3mm). Have to have blood tests to calculate the overall risk factor, but I'm hoping it's low.

I'm so happy I feel like I might finally be able to relax and start to enjoy this pregnancy.

Hello to oopsa. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes OK for you this time.

memorylapse · 22/09/2009 10:44

lovely news about all the scans

Ive been away for a few days to Center Parcs and have got up this morning feeling utterly miserable..the reason?..arrived at center parcs in the throes of hyperemesis..vomiting left right and centre..then slowly over the course of the weekend..the symptoms have subsided..I have got up this morning and eaten and drunk as normal, dont feel the overwhelming exhaustion, no nausea..no tender boobs...I fear the worst..especially after all the bleeding Ive had..epu have refused to scan me until monday at the earliest..so have had no choice but to book a private scan at £150 which is tomorrow evening..Im dreading it

VivClicquot · 22/09/2009 13:26

Yay! What fabulous news about all the positive scans.

The baby dreams have started in earnest here. Last night, I dreamt I had a baby girl who was the spitting image of my sister's baby, so I was very happy.

As for the dress, well, when we went wedding dress shopping in Jan, I had visions of me wearing quite a plain, but still princessy type dress. You know the type - classic, understated, glamourous...

As it happens, I'm wearing a completely over-the-top Ian Stuart number - think sweetheart neck with a corset that is completely encrusted with crystals; very big skirt with a lace underskirt which peeps out from underneath and a massive Lady Di-esque train. Ooops.

Still, I'm only going to do this once, right?

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 22/09/2009 14:16

Viv- sounds fab!! Mine was plain and princessy, which is so unlike me, everyone thought I'd be in...well your diamond encrusted dress God I loved my wedding. Can't believe it's been nearly 2 months since. It goes so fast.

Glad to hear about the positive scans.

Memory- I wouldn't panic too much, pregnancy hormones just seem to go up and down and things are all over the place so I wouldn't think a rest from sickness meant anything bad. You'll be fine, I'm sure.

I have my 21 week scan on 13th Oct but I've asked to move it forward a week as I can't make it on that date. The scan lady said she would but that she doubted they'll be able to see the heart and everything they need to as it's a day before I'm 20 weeks. She asked if I was skinny and I said no, I'm fat and she said that can affect it and she doubts they'll be able to see and so I'll have to go in a couple of weeks later. What a mess. Wish I'd never changed the date. My 4d scan is booked for November. Can't bloody wait. I'll be 26 weeks.

So I'm 18 weeks now anyway. My headaches arn't as bad as they were and I don't feel as sick as usual today. Baby's done the odd flutter the past few days, especially after coke, but still not much movement. Think I'll drink coke and orange juice and eat sherbert tonight and see if it has a wriggle. I can't wait to find out whether it's a boy or girl. Names are all picked out.

hoops997 · 22/09/2009 21:20

amyboo, woohoo!! My nuchal result was the same 1.5mm, just waiting on the results of the blood tests back, it's nice to know there is something in there, isn't it?!

memory I hope all goes well for you, my fingers are well and truly crossed, my sypmtons disappeared completly at 8 weeks and have never really returned apart from the odd episode....like today when I almost threw up on my bosses shoes!!!

Good luck for your scan tomorrow xx

GiPi1 · 22/09/2009 21:52

amy, hoops and littleone - fantastic news - I bet you are all feeling much better and a bit more relaxed now - am sooo pleased for you !!!

memory please try not to worry too much - I am 8+4 and have no symptons at all really apart from some tiredness !!! Am keeping everything crossed for you though !!

totally when I was preggers with my ds and dd, I used to lay on my bed and gently tap my tummy - usually got a response !! but can't remember how many weeks I used to do it from !!!! xx

oops hello, try not to worry - everyone on here is SOOOO supportive, any concerns or if you just need to "talk" - we are here for you - good luck xx

Jacanne is everything OK - not heard from you recently?? please get in touch x

Everyone else - keep those beans warm and good luck with any scans that are booked in the next few days -

memorylapse · 23/09/2009 12:32

well Ive had a scan today after having more bleeding and it wasnt 100% good news..the good news is that bean looks fine and measuring 7+5 which is ban on with when I thought I ovulated..heartbeat was seen..however Ive got a blood clot near the gestational sac and thats where Ive been bleeding from you..the bad news is that Ive got more chance of miscarrying and also other complications later in pregnancy inc placental abruption if the clot doesnt re absorb..so for now..I feel a bit down

oopsacoconut · 23/09/2009 12:52

Memory - I had a clot with DD had had a fine pregnancy. I ended up with a small abruption the week before she was born and spend a week in hospital with them monitoring my blood loss then was induced at 40+4 DD was born healthy and is now standing on the sofa yelling 'bum' at the cat!

GiPi1 · 24/09/2009 11:11

hi guys - sorry, but won't be posting on here any more - the worst has happened and I lost my baby last night, had terrible pains and my friend took me straight to A&E and I miscarried within 30 mins of being there

It is all very raw still and I am so very upset but wanted to wish you all, all the very best luck in the world with your beans

Take care everyone and thanks for all your past support

Gina xxx

LittleOneMum · 24/09/2009 11:50
